What I see here are two groups of people shit flinging at each other in a thread meant for discussing video games.

Conclusion: All of the social media stuff related to the Blizzard boycott is doing little more than spreading awareness and somewhat damaging Blizzard, but they think they're spearheading the enitre HK protest by just doing that.

Its meant to be a Dwarven Runelord from Warhammer Total War II, though his mount, the anvil of doom, seems to be a bit bugged and this monstrosity is born on the battlefield in place of what it should look like.

When he mosies about on foot he looks grand tho

To be fair i am using some graphical mods, one of them might not be working right for that model, had no issues with any others tho bar the angrund ancestral spirits which sometimes have a checker pattern.

He still fights tho so i chalk it up to the dwarfs defying the laws of physics as a weapon against their enemies

Whilst I hate games that make money via microtransactions and junk like that I don't really understand the moral outrage over it. For me, the problem is solely that it leads to shit games made to milk you for money (thus giving me shit games) or make otherwise good games crap. But if it's a game that's entirely designed to milk money from people like a slot machine I genuinely do not see the moral issue if some idiot actually plays them and screws him self over.

It's an increasing issue of game companies deliberately designing glorified casinos, with the intent of drawing in vulnerable people to get them to spend obscene amounts of money. In some cases, the people can't help themselves, and might have addictive personalities.

Personally, the rampancy of such degenerate gambling-pushing by greedy corporations just drives me further into the Pro-Government Regulation camp.

But if it's just a case of exploiting people who are willing to spend on microtransactions that aren't based on luck than that's not gambling. It's just a case of a fool and his money being easily parted.

There is a saying where I came from which goes something like: That witch fell was prone to falling. I guess the English equivalent is a fool and his money are easily parted. Either way it describes how I feel about these things. Than again I am of the opinion that drugs should be legal on the grounds that suicide should not be a crime. So there is that.

Considerable effort goes into designing microtransaction fuelled games to generate the maximum amount of money. People aren't being easily parted from their money at all.
