WW1 FPS Tannenberg, the eastern-front counterpart to Verdun, is out of open beta. Ruskies and Roumanians charging into the machine gun fire of Germans, Austro-Hungarian KuK truppen, and Bulgarians, and vice versa. The full release update has added a few single shot rifles, and thus far I am finding them hilarious. You get one shot, one shot, before a 3-4 second reload animation. But mostly I'm taking one shot, missing, and then bayonet charge. Mad craic.

Metro Exodus is fun, bit clunky with some of the animations and movement which can take away the moment, but other than that im having a blast. Gunplay is fun for the most part, like the enemies and the story so far, though the "Humanimals" are underwhelming.

Big change i would like to see, if it could happen, say it could be, is that if everything was sped up slightly, so movement speed, animations etc it would help deal with the sluggishness.

Tannenberg is fun too, running around with a pistol in that game is soo satisfying.

Metro games have always been heavy on the cutscenes and story. The first two are straight up liner single player games dominated by cutscenes and set pieces. Exodus has more larger open areas which allow for a bit of free roaming in between linear segments.

I am not against cutscenes. I am against packing them all in the first 30 minutes of the game when the gameplay should make or break your interest. Start with the action and than introduce the world as you go along.

Lucky, I can't even get S ranking on Easy on Dark Blue, because those drones are freaking awful. Plus the tunnel run, because this is an Ace Combat game and there has to be the worst tunnel run worse than the one in Aces from 5. Also, fuck trying to fly 40k+ feet to get out of the space elevator, it's a tunnel run vertically.

Fuck the cranes in the tunnel, you can barely see them, they blend in too well with the background. Also wrong, Megalith's tunnel run is the easiest.

Nah, the tunnel in aces is too giant to be hard regardless of how long the game sticks you in it, and even if you can't see the cranes you can fly near the top of the tunnel and avoid them (though I've never had a problem seeing them in the first place). I used to plow through it with the MiG-31M just to get it done faster.
