In addition to the other problems, there is a supposedly a ghost of Adam Smasher haunting Cyberpunk 2077. Like many other people I actually dismissed it as a hoax until videos of it were posted on Reddit.

I read that as Adam Sandler at first and got really confused.

All these Yakuza games have had their big flaws (2 had that annoying chick cop, 3 had those Goddamn orphans, 4 had Saiga's story) but I'd never call them out and out boring. 5? It is BORING. Jesus tapdancing Christ, Kiryu being a taxi driver in nowheresville was droll enough. But now after spending way too fucking long in prison again, now I'm in the middle of Bumfuck, Nowhere hunting a freaking bear. And these Goddamn cutscenes. They go on FOREVER. Just endless fucking talking. I'm pretty sure I went almost a half hour without picking up my controller.

This game sucks.

Tbh if a game or a series of games was annoying me that much I'd just stop playing it.

All games have something annoying about them. But this particular installment is nothing but annoyances.

Yes obviously, but there's a line where it starts to turn the game into an ordeal rather than being fun. At that point I just stop.

I'm a completionist. I beat the first 4, so I'm not gonna quit at 5. Though I will complain the entire way.

And hey, there has been one bright spot: Saejima actually sings karaoke in this one, unlike in 4 where he wouldn't even go in.

Hype for that game has now been reduced to zero. I don't think I'd be surprised if the next bit of news we hear is that they're abandoning the project entirely.

It certainly doesn't bode well when a game's developer gets changed partway through production.

My expectations are so low at this point if it somehow gets a release and isn't a complete dumpster fire I'd be impressed.

And I seem to recall that some of the developers of the original Bloodlines left the project a while back as well. Sounds like it's all going tits up.

Recently finished the Black Ops: Cold War campaign and I have to say I actually enjoyed the story and the little mind games that were happening during the story. I also liked that we got to customize our main character, hopefully the next Call of Duty does that. I think my favorite mission in the campaign was where you get to walk around the KGB's HQ in order to find some ways to let Adler and Bell in.

My only gripe with the campaign is a turbo-nerd one, but why did the Russian KGB HQ Guards use western guns? It's insanity I tell you, and I will not stand for it. Rest assured the dev team received a strongly worded letter from me regarding historical accuracy.

I don't think CoD has never been good at historic gun accuracy, so doesn't surprise me that KGB guards have western guns.

Oh lord no, I'm having a laugh. But you would think in a game based on the Cold War there would be more Soviet/Eastern weapons. Missed chance I think.
