In all seriousness though in case people didnt know what that image was referencing Twitch decided to remove the "Pogchamp" emote from twitch because the guy its based on apparently supported the attack on the capital building in america. There has been some controversy amongst gamers on the matter. And more controversy about the replacement because the replacement guy its based on said white lives dont matter or something.

Its just an emote called pogchamp that you can put in twitch streams. The person who the emote is based on (its his face) is what the controversy was over.

Lootboxes are the exact same as slot machines and basically every casino game. You put money in and get a random reward.

Gambling implies money. As in you bet money, get money. Lootboxes are paying money, getting random crap in a video game.

I think most people would understand that gambling can involve prizes other than money or things that can be converted to money, like casino chips. Plugging coins into a slot machine in the hopes of winning a car is not meaningfully different from plugging coins into a slot machine in the hopes of winning money.

The latest Wolfenstein game sucked. The other two were good, though. I still prefer Doom over Wolfenstein, but they're both a lot of good sci-fi fun.

I've been replaying Pathologic 2 again the last few weeks and for some reasons I'm thinking I may torture myself for no good reason and play Pathologic again.

Well, I did it. I finished FF7R. It took me 30 hours, and every single one was worth it. I finished at level 34 on Tifa, Barrett, and Cloud.

I can easily say that without exaggeration nor hesistation that this game is perfect. It's a modern masterpiece and the best game I've ever played. An easy 10/10. Everything is knocked out of the park with it.

I dunno, I haven't played either. Well, I mean, I've technically played FF7. I've played through Bombing Mission on an emulator but that's about it.

The remake is a lot different, trust me.

Time to go reinstall FF9 and dig out the old strategy guide. It's like VtM: Bloodlines, anytime someone mentions it, I just gotta reinstall and do a playthrough of it.

Turns out my cousin's boyfriend is a gamer himself; he and I had a bit of a chat about the Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty franchises, along with StarCraft. Guy's convinced that AC4 was the last real AC...and was surprised when I told him that Infinite Warfare was basically Call of Duty: Universal Century.

Yeah, basically told him that SetDef were basically Zekes and the UNSA were the Feddies.

They could've just done what they did with Prince of Persia Sands of Time after it ended and make a new series using similar mechanics like they did with Assassin's
Creed.
