I'll consider it. Got a few games on the go at the moment, but all this enforced free time means that I'm getting through them much quicker.

This indeed is the time to work through one's backlog.

Oh my god the pistols in resident evil 3 are soo shit lol, watched a streamer have to empty like 8 rounds into a single zombie's head before it dropped.

It is bs that headshots don't insta-drop a zombie in the recent RE games. In the original RE series however I do remember the trick of raising the shotgun and letting the zombies close to point blank range before blowing their heads off.

I've started playing the 2013 Tomb Raider, and barely an hour in I've come to the conclusion that we as a species cannot advance until quick-time events are banned.

Other complaints:
When you get hurt from enviromental damage like brambles, she flinches... INTO the brambles?!? I nearly died one because I had the audacity to poke a thorn that the game refused to let me get away from.
The incredibly clumsy movement controls. Between this game, Assassin's Creed, and Uncharted, no one has figured out how to make a platforming game where the character doesn't move like a Tiger I tank with rusty treads.

TR '13 and all of its sequels are absolute trash compared to every TR before it, including AoD.

And I actually enjoyed playing through TR '13.

QTEs in Tomb Raider games are literal cancer. They were better without them.

Welp, Bannerlord is a fucking blast. Quite enjoy it. Its pretty much warband a upgrade to warband. I hope that they get around to refining the political system, and family interaction system. It seems a bit shallow there, but still functional.

Also I have a feeling the fact you can produce 5 children for every ingame year, is absolute insanity. That fertility rate is simply insane. Especially when aging takes goddamn forever, have like 8 children below the age of 2.

Just got the game Among Us, and had the most hilarious round ever. Was an imposter, brazenly killed a crewman hoping my team mate would go for double. Instead, he defends my corner in voting, gets the vote tied twice and then convinced the crew it was the innocent who'd witnessed it.

Meanwhile I basically killed everyone.

My imposter team mate didn't directly kill a single soul, but saved mine 3 times and got us thus the win. Best game ever.

If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

I hate the fucking Marauder. Fucking edgelord shows up out of the walls. Fighting him is like an episode of DBZ, bullshit teleport. Also fuck that fiery anal fisting that is his wolf persona summon. I have no idea how I beat the timed Marauder challenge, probably the Ballista.

I encountered a problem in RimWorld. A long time ago in my playthrough a herd of Yaks randomly joined by colony. Since I didn't need them for meat I was happy to just let them be, producing milk periodically. However, the herd kept growing and growing over the years. Eventually the herd had 200 Yaks in it (I kid you not); but the problem was that the entire area was getting totally stripped of grass by the massive herd, as it was getting eaten faster than it could grow again. The Yaks started starving as the grass ran out, and there was no way that I could produce enough fodder on the colony farm to feed them all.

Realising that it was unsustainable, I decided to start slaughtering the Yaks a dozen at a time, as even the gigantic freezer on the colony didn't have enough space to store all the meat if I slaughtered all of them at once. I even started sending the meat to my allies in pods just to get rid of it (the towns and villages I was sending the meat to must have been wondering what the hell they were going to do with 3000 Yak meat). I also had tons of leather being produced, so I got rid of some of it by replacing all the chairs in the colony with leather armchairs. After several rounds of culling I decided to settle on a dozen Yaks, going down the Jurassic Park route of just keeping the females, so that the overpopulation problem wouldn't come back again.

I know that feel. I remember keeping my copy of Ace Combat Zero around for years after I lost my PS2. When I finally had a gaming computer, and when PS2 emulators finally supported the game, my copy was nowhere to be found.

Luckily I didn’t, ahem, need the physical disc.

Anyone here play Ancestors? I’ve heard mixed reviews about that game, but I went ahead and got it because it was on sale and the concept is unique.

Also got the complete XCOM 2 collection for thirty bucks. Very excited about that.

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane.
