I would happily buy it (I have something like 200 hours in the first one) if they didn't have a "season pass" and day-1 planned DLC.

Can anyone recommend me any mods for XCOM2 that change the strategic campaign up. The more the better. I tried longwar but am bored of it by now, and it's not WOTC compatible anyway. And all the rest seem to be geared at the sort of people who think making the game harder adds replayability. And I am NOT one of those. I think that making a game harder just makes it less fun and more annoying. Replayability is added by adding new stuff to discover and play with.

So any tips?

Been playing a bit of Far Cry 2 since I have literally nothing better to do during this stupid ass quarantine. It's frustrating, and not even the gun jamming stuff, I like that aspect, I mean the retarded checkpoints that magically respawn every time you leave their cell and ALWAYS go on to chase you when you barrel through. Really annoying. I also wish they implemented an autosave function. Like, I know you can save literally whenever you want on PC, but still, autosaving would be nice. It's a good game otherwise, but I feel like the internet (ok, more like /v/) overhypes it a lot more than it deserves, especially since most of the love for it seems to have come directly as a result of the newer games in the series like 5 and New Dawn.

So my Warband campaign has been going well. I have become lord of Dhirim along with 4 castles and a village and I have just been elected Marshall of Swadia. Also goddamm Swadian Knights are fucking OP. Like I have around 16 in my party and on open fields I have fucking dominated.

They don’t let you name your horse rude names in RDR2 so them getting pissy over the word military doesn’t really surprise me either.

Ayy I did it

Beat the scourge with the Varelive Arbitrators (they did most of the work beacuse the scourge spawned on the other side of the galaxy)

Also a federation formed early game but mid game it broke apart for some reason. The birbs who where part of the fed where at one pont a great aly, until they started to be dicks. They also called my nation "primitive" when we where kicking there ass tech wise.

With a massive fleet we liberated many solar systems from the birb tyranny. We also invaded liberated a birb colony from there dictatorship in the only land battle of the war. It wasn't taken fully post war sadly, didn't have enough influence to stake a claim on it. (and yes I did play that very song when they surrendered to the light of liberty that is the United Nations of Earth)

In my ongoing fight to get my game pass turned back on, I finally got an e-mail from those Microsoft fucks today. Something about settlement reversed. I don't know what that means, but it apparently doesn't mean I get my money back or game pass turned back on.

One of my colonists on RimWorld has a pet Warg, he is now 17 years old (life expectancy of a Warg is 16). Nature seems to be hinting that he needs to die, as he has had two heart attacks in the past two years. Both times the only reason he survived is because we have a fantastically good doctor/veterinarian colonist; I'm absolutely sure that the Warg would have died without his skills. I am going to be gutted when it dies, as it has been with the colony since the beginning, over 10 in-game years ago.

So i gave Doom 2016 a bash again, tried it a year or two back, couldnt get into it then, but i started it up last night again, and just completed it there now. Man that was a really fun game.

I played it on Console this time around via gamepass, so that might be why i felt more comfortable playing it as opposed to steam. Definitely gona pick the second one up.

It's...alright I guess. Gaining a royal title can actually be more trouble than it is worth. If you get a higher title rank than Yeoman then it causes all sorts of issues, such as the colonist refusing to do certain types of work, becoming fussy about what food they eat and what clothes they wear, demanding a certain standard of bedroom, etc.

I'm keeping my colonists at Yeoman rank or lower, by refusing to accept certain quests, as the colony would potentially become nonviable if enough colonists start to refuse certain types of work.
