Same thing happened to me, I got 1 and 2 years ago, played a few hours of 1 and bounced off. But I've heard they get more accessible as they go, so I went in with the attitude that if I bounce off again I'll just jump ahead to the next game. And this time I haven't bounced off, at least not yet.

Playing Blacksad. Enjoying it so far. Had to dig out the Xbox PC controller, as it warned me that it was best played with the controller, and the keyboard control scheme looked like arse as well.

The hilarious thing is, one of my contracts was to not have any civilian fatalities, and i completed it as this random woman got pounced on by a raptor and mauled, so this scientist is like "Well done and keeping our visitors safe!" and im just watching in horror (as well as laughing my ass off) from the ACU copter as this woman is made into dino lunch.

Souls games are not for me.

Some people like to celebrate how hard the game is, I don't find Dark Souls 2 too hard, but having your character become a hideous green zombie and lose max health if you so much as dare die once is annoying. I would rather just have to restart from a last saved location than be penalized for something that naturally happens in practically every game.

Souls games really aren't that hard unless you're new to them and don't know how the game works, or have enemy movements memorized. Even then, they're not hard if you just take your time and progress through areas carefully, which is what I tend to do in most games.

Losing your humanity in DS2 is definitely more annoying than in the other games, thanks to the loss of HP. Farming Human Effigies so that you don't have to stay Hollow definitely helps, although I forget the best methods for farming them. There are also a few rings that can help mitigate the effects of dying, if you can get a hold of those.

IMO I still think of Dark Souls II as my favourite of the series, although for whatever reason nowadays, I just never play it very long. I think I'm just so burnt out from playing all the games for years that I haven't had much motivation to replay them much lately.

I'll be keeping an eye on this. Got some good FEAR vibes from the demo, but some fairly serious bugs undercut the experience.

Gmanlives' video on it certainly made it look pretty good. I feel like the graphics would give you a headache after enough time though.

Enough time being about 5 seconds of watching that. Not even making this up. That's how long it took.

idk, I played the demo for about an hour and didn't have a problem with the graphics.

For me it's the bright flashing. It's just visually too much and my eyes go "nope!"

Even with all the issues the Franchise has had, Destiny definitely is one of the best feeling shooters, IMO. The art style is great, too. To be expected of Bungie though, regardless of the series.

Crucible sucks though.
