Whataboutism is still not a logical way of thinking.

Also AOC and Marco Rubio agreed on something. The fact that Acti-Blizz is a major suck up to a dictatorship state and tramping freedom in the name of money.

Been playing Need for Speed Most Wanted (the 2005 one, not the shitty Criterion one) ‘cause I had a nostaglia hankering or something. Pretty fun. The IS 300 has been carrying me for most of the game despite having bought a pretty sweet Evo. But man, fucking Earl, fuck that rubber-banding cunt. I literally had to break the AI by not using nitrous at all to beat him, which was pretty ridiculous, but at least I beat him at all. Other than Earl, I adore the game. The police pursuits are absolutely fantastic, the way they seamlessly flow into races, chasing after your opponents, blasting commands over the scanner, it’s awesome. I really hope NFS Heat will be good.

Yes, everyone totally believes in this obviously true whataboutism. No one is against American interventionism. Obviously.

I'll still always hype Underground over MW, but MW did have its moments. Also, beating the entire game with one of the starter cars because of how the modding system works in that game is hilarious.

Yeah, I’m nearly halfway through the blacklist and the IS 300 is still basically my main car. KuruHS who streams a lot of NFS games beat the entire game using a completely stock Golf without upgrades. Though he did do some performance tuning and mindbroke the AI a lot to actually be able to win, but still. Pretty impressive and hilarious.

No. I go on about the fact that the video literally mentions american politicians, the same ones I might add who constantly promote american imperialism in places like Syria and Iraq banding together to tell Blizzard not to pander to China because the Chinese are evil imperialists. Seriously just watch it. It would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting.

Yes, that is whataboutism. You are going on about how bad apparently the american politicians are mentioned in the video, despite the fact that some of those politicians not constantly doing or not doing at all what you accuse them of doing, in an effort to make Activision Blizzard actions seem more palatable.

Completely side stepping the issues of a corporation bowing down to a dictatorship state that want's to reduce the rights of it's citizens in order to make more money.

And which of them exactly has ever not been an american madman promoting invasions around the world? Names please. Because as far as I remember all of them have at some point been in the camp of american imperialism if by no other means than by tacitly approving of it.

That's no issue at all. Corporations exist to make money. End of story. Anything else from them would be a betrayal of their purpose for being.

I don't click any youtube links DDRH posts because there's a 90% chance it's a jim sterling video. It also doesn't matter, if your remarks were directed at the maker of the video you should have just called out the maker of the video and not made such a general remark.

Than there is little sense in you responding to the response to the person who posted said video which was directly addressing the content of the video posted. Now is there?

It also doesn't matter, if your remarks were directed at the maker of the video you should have just called out the maker of the video and not made such a general remark.

It was directed partially at the guy who posted the video as a remark to his stupidity for posting sterling and his frankly obnoxious gloating at obvious political hypocrisy of the highest degree and partially to vent my disgust with said hypocrisy.

There's plenty of sense when your statements were so indirect and passive-aggressive that it wasn't clear if you were responding to something specific or if you were just making a general statement. Calling the presenter a big dumb fat moron would have been a lot more direct, less ambiguous, less wordy, and would have gotten your point across equally well.

I literally quote the person and post I was responding to. There is no physical way as enabled by the forum software to more specifically designate what I am specifically replying to. What more did you expect me to do? Put it in big red block letters:
THIS POST IS A RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE QUOTED TEXT

People use the quote system to make general remarks all the time. I know you've spent more than five seconds on this forum, so you know this every bit as well as I do.

Purpelia wrote:What more did you expect me to do? Put it in big red block letters:

I expect that someone that is talking about a specific person will make make specific remarks, i.e: "this person's opinion is stupid and hypocritical" as opposed to a going on making a passive-aggressive bitchfit, and then getting pissy when someone responds to your ambiguous statements as if they were ambiguous. This could have literally been all avoided by just adding "Jim thinks" or "you think" between "I just love how" and "when a private company" in your initial post.
