God I love Shadow of Chernobyl so much. I watched a pack of dogs maul a loner’s friends, and they almost killed him until he finally took them out with his dinky little silenced Makarov. If you are into mods you should try Call of Chernobyl. They basically merged all 3 games into one in terms of the map and stuff. So you get to explore all of the zone. Still as insane.

Due to Take Two being incompetent, they fucked up with the privacy of a test stream on Twitch for Borderlands 3, and a large number of people could see thumbnails for BL3, which they began to post on Reddit and make videos about on YouTube. When YouTubers began to talk about potential Borderlands 3 leaks and info (which is/was publicly available information), Take Two began a false DMCA spree.

They also filed seven fraudulent copyright strikes against a specific YouTuber at once, and even hired private investigators to track them down IRL and basically low-key threaten them with bad things happening unless they took down their videos.

So basically imagine Digital Homicide or Alex Mauer, but an entire corporation + hired goons.

Well, it's not/wouldn't be the first time that such a thing has happened, especially from Take Two. They've done the same thing before, towards a GTA V modder back in 2015.

Thats the thing though, Supmatto is pretty much like any other youtube streamer, he doesn't have any non-disclosure agreement that I have at least heard of. Its sounds to me more like a buzzword they are tossing around to confuse everyone. Unless the consumers have to sign a NDA to play borderlands 1 & 2, I dont know how they could peg the guy.

TLDR; my view on this is that it is absolutely positively possible but I am holding off to see if it is true. As in I won't dismiss either side out of hand as impossible or lying. Especially given the reputation their company has had lately what with the other scandals.

Can one person boycott? Take part in a boycott, certainly, but just boycott? I dunno.

There are two types of boycotts:
1. Mass actions by large groups of people using social media and stuff. These amount to absolutely nothing, are a waste of time and exist only to make the participants feel good.
2. Semi silent boycotts by individual people like you and me that slowly snowball until the companies in question start loosing money. That makes them take notice. And lacking any overt leadership to bribe, open demands to cave into or defy and generally any input they either shape up or collapse.
