I vehemently disagree for several reasons:
- It forces you to buy a whole separate console that ain't cheap. And no game is worth that much of an investment.
- I really don't care for localization one bit. I know it's a taste thing. But if my favorite games started talking in my native language I would be more freaked out than happy about it.
- I find it insulting that they are willing to put in so much money and time into localizing the game for a language spoken by, what, not even 1% of the human population but NOT into porting it to the platform that holds like 50% of gamers. I fundamentally feel my demographic is being unjustly wronged to favor a different one.

Three whole days of playing Splatoon 2.

One big old woomy 2 X100 battles won. (screenshot of one of the checks here) Loads of X10 battles one with three of them being this morning . (with one of those three this morning when the entire other team disconnected, never seen that happen before.)

Over 1 million clout for normal splatfest battles. 20k 90k for ranked splatfest battles.

I had fun.

So Rockstar released a casino update for GTA Online today. Predictably, you can gamble with GTA dollars.

This apparently counts as gambling enough for several countries to ban it. In these countries, the player can’t play the gambling mini games.

Some countries apparently allow some, like the table based ones, and not others, like the slot machines.

But can we talk about how a human-developed AI planned to commit world-wide multi-species genocide using the blended remains of children that were tricked into arming the devices that would ultimately trick them? If the incident with the NILS statue is public, I bet Inklings would be really pissed off at Humanity.

Just imagine knowing that what you thought were gods made an AI that would kill you and everything you've loved in seconds. It would hurt, a lot

Only the squid sisters, and they used "on high" and not heaven or gods.


"On high" might just be 4th wall breaking to imply Nintendo/Splatoon devs.

Scroll 24 also kinda leads away from being religious.


But then again, The Japanese translation for Splatoon 2 has Pearl say "The god-machine has woken up, for example!".

So I guess it all depends on what version you use.

However, I don't see a mention to any gods in the Spanish, German,French or Dutch Splatfest Announcements.
