. . . okay, I don't deserve that victory. I was fighting a losing battle between crewman when I managed to kill the Flagship. I'm a little surprised that FTL allows a Pyrrhic victory like that.

It's not really Pyrrhic within the story, though, since you're just one ragtag group taking out the enemy's command ship.

True. I just didn't expect these ruthless game developers to see it that way. :P

Oh yeah and there might be some minor spoilers:
I finally cracked that Natah Quest in half thanks to Mod Fusion. Now I'm gonna start the Second Dream, which will probably just be more vague mysterious-

Oh.
Well that got dark quite quickly, what with Demonic Optimus Prime and Stalker most likely going to go full Jason Voorhees on a Tenno training camp or whatever is the equivalent and all. Whatever, I'm only on the second mission anyway.

Does anyone else here miss the good old days of FPS games? Back when each game had obligatory stealth sections, turret levels, driving sections and escort quests. Oh, and sewer levels. And underwater levels. Man I miss those days.

Speaking of games I have a question. Does anyone here play World of Warships? I've been thinking of jumping in one of these days but am worried about it being too pay to win, taking too much grinding and generally having to invest way too much time into it. So like, how does that work out in reality? Also, how does the whole grinding for ships aspect work? Do you have to grind each nation and class separately?

It's a wargaming product, so these things are less concerns and more certainties.

Yes on both counts.

I pi ked up the SNES version of Wing Commander on Saturday. It's a good game, but I wish it had a save feature.

Dam. I was hoping it was something I could jump into for some mindless casual fun at the very least on the lower levels.

I do actually miss the stealth sections. But mostly because I there aren't enough good FPS stealth games to go around and I can only play Thief II and Metro so many times.
