As needed for what? You can't possibly believe that continually giving Activision Blizzard more and more money will get them to change anything.

I thought Overwatch was the game for whiny players who can't handle shittalk on the internet? That's why most people tend to get fucked over, anyways - salty players and teammates spamming report buttons over every little thing.

I wouldn't be surprised, considering the reputation that game has for its community.

Never knew anyone who had any problems with "being toxic" or anything like that when it came to Halo/Battlefield/CoD/Paladins/etc., but Overwatch....wew.

Ameriganastan wrote:In other news, I won my first match of Apex Legends.

Because Gibralter has the largest hitbox in-game, I assume.

Apex Legends is hot garbage IMO, especially since the Meta was figured out. Since the meta has sunken in, the game went from initially fun due to everyone being new and using all sorts of fun weapons and tactics, to generic Battle Royale #28447, where the outcome of 99% of games can be predicted based on which squad is better at abusing the Peacekeeper/Hemlock meta and small-hitbox characters.

Characters like Wraith and Lifeline are meta because they have the smallest hitboxes, while Gibraltar and Caustic are considered bad because of their large sizes - for reference, Wraith's hitbox is only half as large as Gibraltar's.

Because of that, I'd guess the sweaty tryhards flip shit because someone in their squad doesn't choose the "right" character in order to abuse hitboxes and whatnot.

Oh, weak. I kept seeing a commercial for this game called One Leaves. Looked spooky and it's free. Do a little digging before downloading, and turns out it's just some anti-smoking crap from those Truth people. What a rip.

I have multiple copies of Super Mario Bros, Mario Bros., Metroid, and the Legend of Zelda. I have the GBA releases of the latter three, and the NES version of Super Mario Bros. I have the NES Classic Edition, which includes all of these games.

I try not to buy games twice but sometimes I make exceptions.

Plague Inc on the PC has a lot more features then Plague Inc on phone.

Bought GTA SA twice, once used on PS2, the other on steam.

Oh god the frame rate on the PS2 made everything so much more hard.

ALSO THIS FUCKING MISSION in the original ps2 version you need 4000 points to beat it. EVERY OTHER RELEASE OF THIS FUCKING GAME HAS THE POINT REQUIREMENT AT 2500.

It's still a hard mini game beacuse of the shitty input reg that makes you input the control .5 milliseconds after you think you should input it. Lest you incur the wrath of
"ToO FaSt". Even tried the speed run way of beating the mission, wasn't able to pull it off.

Oh, and HL2 I bought twice. I got the cd version of it from a goodwill. It had a soft lock in it in the citadel and I had the run the game from the HL2.exe file and not the shortcut.

Doom 4 I bought twice too, cuz it's fun as hell.

Now that I think about it I bought the Spyro Trilogy twice. Spyros 1 and 3 on my Ps3, Spyro 2 for my Ps2 (god I miss when backwards compatibility was standard) and, Reginted Trilogy for my Xbox 1. Because having the right analog stick to move the camera is something that Spyros 2 and 3 should have but don't.

Now I realize that there have been other games Ive rebought.
Mostly games I owned in my youth on now malfunction consoles so instead of getting used console from eBay or something I've bought games from steam or GoG.

The only game I've ever bought more than once, as it happens, is Bloodlines. I have a physical copy around somewhere, I think, but I bought it on Steam because my current laptop doesn't have a CD drive.

I’ve bought games twice, but almost always because the first copy was for a console and the second copy was for pc.

I've bought multiple copies of Resident Evil 4 and Fallout 3...both are great games, though. Oh, I guess Dark Souls and Dark Souls II on PC also count.

Funny enough, only bought Skyrim twice - once for XBOX 360, and then five years later on Steam, for half price.

I only buy multiples if the CD isn't working because I'm an impatient mf, and rubbing alcohol does not work no matter what people say. Or if there's a DLC/deluxe version that I really want, like for Oblivion or Skyrim.

I bought New Vegas for my PS3 and for my PC. PC is obviously much better ‘cause it doesn’t have the godawful frame rate and you can mod it.
