Goddamn, dude. I didn't know that game was so dark...

To be fair, the main antagonist is trying to kill God.

But for most of the game it isn't, which is why it's such a holy fuck moment.

I went back into playing some old N64 games that I had, and OMG do I really miss the 64-bit cartridge era of the mid-to-late 90s dominated by the N64.

I don't even remember it being particularly good. I only remember the emotional scars.

Gamers, advise what antiviruses do you use? Which work best? If consider avast vs bitdefender these are good options?

Malwarebytes works well enough. Not using Windows works better.

This thread is a better place to ask about non-gaming related computer questions.

Well, I never thought I’d end up buying more games during the Lunar New Year sale on Steam than the Christmas one, but I did. I purchased Death Road to Canada, Unavowed, Into the Breach, and STALKER: Clear Sky.

Death Road is pretty fun. Managed to beat it on my fourth run.

Oh right I forgot about Diddy Kong Racing, which I think might be better than Mario Kart. Also Donkey Kong 64 is complete garbage, just saying, and I never played the other games. I do wish I had Conker's Bad Fur Day and a few others but the prices for N64 games are really expensive.

1. That is a stupid idea that a tax on violent video games will stop school shootings.
2. The idea that violent games causes mass shootings is a 90s/early 2000s idea that should be put to rest.
3. I just want to play my games, goddamnit.

I still enjoy it, I wish there was a third game, but no 3DO just had to go bankrupt a few years later, and we'll never know who that mysterious person at the end was who tried to revive Cassandra. Still better than the first Battletanx in every way.

Anyone else remember Red Alert 2?
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

Like, I've genuinely beaten that game so many times now that I know every single mission inside and out to the point where there is no challenge any more. At this point I could do an insane speed run or something.

Bloodhound is probably my favorite character in Apex.

Gibraltar and Bangalore are also pretty fun. Had some good games with Bangalore today, specifically.

I have, and I would recommend it, but I'd recommend also learning about the lore and story of previous Ace Combat games, because 7 does make reference to them. Ace Combat's 4, and 5 especially, and even a bit of Zero is thrown in.
