Honestly I can agree with this even though I've been loving the game overall. I've still had issues with some things.

How does one run like a maintenance check on a game? Cause DBD has been buggy and weird lately, and I think it needs one.

If you have it through Steam, right click on DBD in your library, then go Properties->Local Files->Verify Integrity of Game Files.

Blizzard paying staff to leave in order to cut costs, according to reports

The developer "has been trying very actively to find creative ways to cut costs," said one source.

In a bid to cut costs, Blizzard has expanded a scheme that offers employees money to leave the company, according to a Kotaku report. Sources also state that the company has given more power to its finance department to cut spending, and has reduced the budgets of any teams not directly making games.

The staff buyout scheme, called Career Crossroads, offers severance packages to staff who voluntarily leave the company. It was initially open to customer service representatives with more than five years at Blizzard, but this year it has been expanded to the quality assurance and IT teams, a source familiar with the program told Kotaku. Blizzard has also reduced the number of years an employee must work in order to be eligible for the scheme.

Some would argue the fall was before that i reckon.

They got a lot of flak from people over the last wow expansion.

Then again that does happen like every expansion.

I don’t think I’ve actually played any games that have come out this year.

Probably Red Dead Redemption 2, but I haven't played a lot of 2018 games I don't think.

How about things you've all bought during the sale? I've bought a few things for friends and 2 Cities: Skylines DLC's for myself.

I haven't bought anything.

subnautica I got for free on the epic games launcher (it's still free until the 27th), Smash ultimate I have been playing daily, and KH3 is only 36 days away.

The only thing I could want would be GTA 5 and even then it's just going to sit in my steam library for a while.

Either that or I start playing it only then to dump it as soon as KH3 comes out.

Replaying Bloodborne for the third time because I have an unhealthy relationship with that game.

I have not bought a thing on the sale. Nothing has really grabbed my eye.
