The mod is really lackluster imo, it's far too railroaded.

Like, I beat the democratic uprising as the Qing once, and I still got events saying the Qing were defeated and then the revolt just kept spawning over and over even if I kept beating them.

Well it is still in beta so I am sure there are plenty of issues, but since I am cursed with being more interested in the Great War over WWII which doesn't really have any great strategy games available, I have to make do with what I can.

Plus I have to say the events are far better at being roughly in line with historicity, to where it doesn't interfere with major happenings like I have noticed with the base game. And the casualties seem to be alot more balanced, as so far in the base game the casualties seem incredibly skewed in my favor every time im at war

Well it is still in beta so I am sure there are plenty of issues, but since I am cursed with being more interested in the Great War over WWII which doesn't really have any great strategy games available, I have to make do with what I can.

It's been in beta with minimum development for years. The creator decided to make his own WW1 game.

that's funny. Male children are dime a dozen in almost every single character I play as. That said, why not just make your realm anatic-cognatic and rid yourself of that trouble?

Thinking about marriages in the game, I can count on one hand how many times I've had female relatives married in normal marriages. I almost always aim for matrilineal except maybe when there's a king who I can obtain an alliance from. Is this normal?

Hmmmm, it doesn’t actually help much. I mean, it grows your family, but it’s very rare that you actually get a title out of it for your dynasty. However, it can be useful if you get some third-in-line son and you press their claim. Otherwise, you’re just marrying off to subpar characters who accept matrilineal marriages.
