I think I'm just going to keep ordering them assassinated, but hopefully taking Islamic holy sites and generally destroying the moral authority of Islam will spark heresies and thus revolts over there.

You should always use the 3 doctrine reforms mod. It balances pagans with the rest of the religions.

You really need to stop the Byzantines. Justinian is starting to look proud.

I completely cucked the Abbasids tho by invading them for Anatolia after they took it over, that CB is definitely worth the threat level increase. SOooooo much land under my control from it.

I'll probably get it at some point. My current game is vanilla as hell (it doesn't even have great powers. I think it's not up to date yet) but the game has my interest piqued

I've been letting the plotters at it since 869 (20 years ago). Fylkir Bernd II Orenblau has survived the following attempts, basically becoming the one and only character in my story to survive anything from a plotter:
1- 871: Poisoned Wine in a Banquet
2- 872: "Highwaymen" jumped him on his carriage, jumped out of the falling thing and then rolled, lost a leg but survived.
3- 879: Snake in his room
4- 879: loose railing
5- 883: Poisoned Wine... again
6- 889: (a few minutes ago) escaped a tavern after smelling poop. The tavern exploded minutes later. Lost an arm.

I've been letting the plotters at it since 869 (20 years ago). Fylkir Bernd II Orenblau has survived the following attempts, basically becoming the one and only character in my story to survive anything from a plotter:

You could also go and lead an army and hope to get hurt, or get a really bad physician and hope they fuck you up if you get sick. I had one asshole cut a hand off and severely wound me once then try and leg it. Got castrated once too to beat cancer.

The good(?) news is that he died in 897 in natural-ish causes (he got cancer, and his medic cut off his face to fix it. for some reason), outliving every single one of his plotters.
