I've put them in melee mode, taken off fire at will, even run them down to no ammo with no results. The only mods I'm using are the Medieval 1212 AD mods, which is what that screenshot is from.

Is the unit in question only from that mod? It might just be a thing with the mod maybe.

. . . after reading this Dev Diary, I think I can conclusively say I'm done with EUIV for forever. Unless this next expansion is literally the best thing PDS has ever done, I'm just done. The current Dev team is pure fucking shit.

More along the lines of continued bad decision making with an overpriced game inspiring fans to smash heads into tables culminating after years of said nonsense.

- Developer flaunts the cultural tension between Austria and Hungary -> two pictures later, shows up a petty modifier that puts down any expectation that there will ever be tension
- Shamelessly admits full blast that there will be no Austrian missions for Spain. Because the Austrian-Spanish relationship was just a footnote in history and didn't impact much of anything.
- Colonial ambitions for Austria. While plausible if/when they get the Burgundian inheritance, they chose to focus an entire branch on ahistorical bullshit over something like, y'know, the Spanish-Austrian union. Not to mention meme the memetic bullshit that is "Austrialasia"
- "After crushing the Revolution, you then must assert your supremacy over Europe – all Great Powers in Europe must either be allied to you or have been defeated by you in the last 100 years. If you can manage all this, you will be in a truly dominant position and will be duly rewarded with +5% ADMINISTRATIVE EFFICIENCY." HOLY FUCK, WHAT A REWARD. 5 WHOLE ADMIN EFFICIENCY. The EUIV has gone straight downhill after he was let onto the design team. I place all of the blame for every absurd decision and the decline of historical accuracy in the game on that stupid motherfucker.
