Now I'm stuck between Space Vampires in Stellaris or doing this AAR thingy I wanted to do about Stalin traveling back in time to CK2 timeframe bc German WW2 victory and tryna post it maybe here and reddit

I've been meaning to do the latter one for a long time. I'd probably make Stalin a Slavic or Suomenusko pagan, then reform the religion to be hyper-militaristic with Temporal authority.
The end goal would be to form the Slavic Union and acquire all the land that the USSR held in 1941, as well as making sure that the Holy Roman Empire (i.e. the First Reich) meets its end at Soviet hands.

You must also dominate China. Don't forget that. Those Chinese can't possibly be trusted to ruin their own affairs.

Bonus points if you make the religion egalitarian and stuff to make it more communistish.

So I started playing Stellaris, which is my first actual playing of a 4X Paradox game (I played Europa Universalis IV, which I got as a gift from a friend on Steam, for like, an hour and found it mind-numbing, so it doesn’t really count), and I quite enjoy it. I’m playing as a pretty generic egalitarian materialist human democracy. Now if only there wasn’t so much DLC...

Just found out that the Nosferatu are not planned to be a playable clan on release of VTMB 2 and I'm a tad miffed, tbh. The exclusion of Gangrel I can understand since in the edidition of the game this is based on means they've already left the Camarilla and are independent but Nosferatu are literal icons. Am sad now.

The Mexican government presumably, after they decided that it would be utterly impossible to give me Nevada-Utah in the peace deal even though I killed their entire army, most of their navy, and had half the country sieged for like three years. I don't know who they're trying to fool, I'm just going to take it as soon as the peace deal expires anyway.

It's hard to see why they aren't, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt at the present moment, and assume there's just a reason I'm not thinking of.

Could be that re-working the game to be playable without the player ever interacting with any kine is too difficult for them to be bothered with yet, especially given that they've already had to give the game a whole Malk re-write.
Could be that Obfuscation would just be game-breakingly powerful, or would need to be nerfed so hard as to be useless, and you can't very well have the Nosferatu without it. None of the other clans get Obfuscation.
Could be that they've written the whole Seattle Kindred scene in such a way that the Nosferatu wouldn't take a Thin Blood in and they figure that people being mad about no playable Nosferatu doesn't justify the necessary re-writes.

That's fair. Like I said, I'm not passing judgement yet. But considering this is a studio where I had to pay $0.99 for my Tibetan characters not to look vaguely Arabic, it's hard to have much faith in them.

I always liked it when games did that; like Oblivion and New Vegas. I find it easier to focus on the character and what they're saying instead of whatever is going on in the background.

I always liked it when games did that; like Oblivion and New Vegas. I find it easier to focus on the character and what they're saying instead of whatever is going on in the background.

Except not in Oblivion because I do not want a close up of those faces.
