Now if I could only get two previously played characters as Saints...

Speaking of, I think they decreased the Alexander bloodline event's chance of occurring again.

Lmao, it's funny you say that because that was one of the bloodlines I forged. I was rich enough to practically buy myself victory without effort, and then went on to fight and win two Crusades with the very same character giving a Crusader bloodline for being a shining example of a pious Christian warrior-emperor.

I think you have to have an ancestor with Greek culture in order to get the Alexander event, because so far I've only gotten it with a Greek Byzantine Emperor and a French Holy Roman Emperor that had a Greek Grandmother. That or it's tied to an Empire-tier title.

You rang?
Also I tried playing a nomad. Just selecting them filled me with a sense of profound unease. Nomads are like Cthulu. Cthulu-sader Kings. Now I need to get the Cthulu event as the nomads. Granted, that requires playing nomads...
Glitterhoof, save me from this hell of my own creation.

I would support it, but it's been like, 11 hours since our most recent title.

You know I used to think "Prussia is for hipsters".

And yet, here I am, I keep playing Germany for some reason because I find it fascinating to watch the power dynamics shift so suddenly between the Great Powers in Victoria 2.

Of course, I've spent most of this second Germany game bullying Austria and France. Indeed, taking states from France launched me into the number one spot. I'm now debating whether I should suffer a Great War to make sure I knock France and Austria-Hungary out of power entirely or just cruise into first place for the rest of the game. Right now I'm not even halfway done with the game; it's 1886.

Also. German Korea. Cuz. Why not.

Where I can make custom characters(even as simple as EU4's character system).

... Crusader Kings. It's even in the name.

Can't tell ya how many times me and the damn Abbasids/Arabian Empire crossed swords.

You know what I like in a game. Jingoism. Makes my Wargoal boner go up.

Why everybody gotta be so dang liberal all the dang time -_-

Daddy Kaiser Wilhelm needs more French states.

I think there should be a law that in every group of Stellaris players, at least one will have Murderous Fanatic Purifier BDSM Catgirls as their civilisation.

But I'm only able to use the ruler designer on one ruler. :(

If you save the game and load it on the splash screen, you can edit individual rulers.

it's long and tedious, but it can be done... Which yeah, makes the question... Why do you wanna do that?

So those nomads I mentioned were my ancestors* the Magyars. I more-or-less immediately tribalized. Then I attained the high ground! These are my mass conversion options (Iconoclast and Sunni). I'm unreformed Tengri, in no position to reform it. What do I do? For clarity, this is my position. I have no clue how Moravia...did that.

*I use that word very loosely. My Granddad has Hungarian ancestry, for clarity.

If you wanna be OP, go Muslim.

I had A LOT of success as the Mongols, but my guess is you're more interested in more solid power.

In which case... You're not in a very good spot, Muslim or otherwise. You're looking at a very long period of either expanding to pump up your military numbers and/or slowly working your way up to Feudalism or Iqta. Staying tribal, I'm sure you know, is a bad idea and loses it's early game advantage as time goes on. Not to mention... Gavelkind sucks.

Also... What did Moravia do?

Moravia ate Kiev. I'm also most of the way towards Feudal. Just need the gold for the forts. I was similarly thinking Muslim, just wanted to see what you all thought.

Muslim if you want an easier game; Iconoclast if you don't. :p

Though given your position, Iconoclast might be the safer bet.

"It would be extremely painful"
"You're a big empire"
"For you"

More than anything, I think I want to maintain a cool title for my main playable nation in Victoria 2, whether it's the German Empire (my new personal favorite), the People's Republic of America, stuff like that.

I've been trying to figure out how to maintain the Reactionaries in power to enable that but I can't quite figure out how to keep the unending tide of liberalism down. If only it could be called, like, the German Republic or the Weimar Republic or something... Oh well. :(

Way after. Couldn't handle the Jacobin revolt... Before that we went Communist, which, while cool, is a nightmare.
