This has been the most interesting save. I start a Saxon game planning to conquer the isles. France shatters right in front of me, then Italy. God knows why the Ummayads haven't spread across the map like a plague. Sweden conquers Provence just cuz for the lols. Brittany turns Germanic pagan saying "peace out" to Christianity. The Pope calls the crusades early only to conquer the least helpful territory. Poland is bitch slapping my new Germanic chieftain converts who just changed Faith's to Germanic paganism. Us pagans had just declared war on Poland to stop his German crushing ways.

Given that all the accounts we have were written by his enemies we can't really be sure. But at the very least the fact they do line up for a change tells us that it's probably true.

To be fair, we don't even know whether or not Judas existed. Just because we're reasonably certain Jesus was isn't enough evidence to guarantee that the other apostles were historically real. Though, considering this is a Paradox thread, not entirely sure this is relevant. Perhaps we should go back to discussing incestuous murder plots.

So I just realized I've never played Tibetan or Bön characters since Tibet became available, which is odd because I've played pretty much everywhere and everything. I think I'll give them a try after my current game finishes; see if I can't rule Tibet as a Bön and then reform the faith into... something. Of course I'm a bit worried being right next China because Lord knows the Western Protectorate is OP as fuck.

All my games get too easy anyway. I've honest to God never played a game all the way to 1453 - not even when starting at 1337.
