To be fair those treatments are only marginally more reasonable than the stuff they actually did.

Has the late-game lagging/crashing been fixed? It made me abandon a game several weeks ago and revert to the pre-Megacorp version, but I'd like to try out the new version again eventually.

Apparently, they're talking to the dev of one of the best strike craft improvement mods I've seen.

Hey Space_Lettuce_OG! I'm a Community Ambassador working for Paradox Interactive. I'd like to discuss something modding related in private so I sent you a friend request. Think you can accept it so we can have chat? :)

I'm hoping for a full implementation of the mod into vanilla. After that, they can make the diplomacy more in depth, make federations a bit better, give more options for religions (i.e., setting doctrines and all that), and everything I've wanted in the game will be done.

CK2 needs a new feature: Adopt Ancestral Dynasty. If you have a blood ties or possess the legendary blood of a character you can convert to a superior/alternate dynasty. Sassanid blood characters can become Sassanids, Sayyids of certain dynasties can become Hashimids etc.

Also let Byzantine emperors form their own special bloodlines exclusive to the Byzantines.

This sounds kinda like what I mentioned before about 'branch dynasties' that broke off the main family.

I've wanted distinct religions in the game since the beginning but noooooo.

I just want my federation to become HRE's in space.

Wouldn't that ultimately defeat the point of the game, which was to keep one dynasty alive until the end date? If you can just switch dynasties, that seems like it would require massive rewriting.

I wouldn't mind Paradox creating new mechanics for cadet branches of dynasties.

When playing as historical dynasties your score starts at 0 no matter what. Changing dynasties to one you have blood claims to doesn't defeat the purpose. It gives you a prestige modifier at the cost of spending more prestige than that of custom empires.

Hottest take: All governments need to be playable...

Also, I shouldn't need DLC to access like 90% of the game >_>

The base games pretty good, its just that the dlcs make the game amazing. This is what usually happens with really old games. Hell, WoW is still a thing, with plenty of dlcs.

Yeah, but at least in EU$ of HOI$ the DLCs ADD stuff to the game. DLCs in CK2 UNLOCK parts of the game *Cough* Swords of Islam
