I have decided that the next time a Steam sale comes around I'm buying HOI4. Pretty soon you'll be seeing me whine about Panzers or something instead of whining about how big of assholes Aragon and Morocco are all the time.

Aragon has never been a problem for me when playing near it.
Morocco can definitely mess up plans though.

And you won't really whine about Panzers. You'll be more like "Why on Earth am I fighting against Germany, the Soviet Union, and America?"

The problem isn't the panzers its "Why are my well supplied 20 width tank divisions out of supply at all times while my enemy's encircled divisions are breaking out when they're half capitulated and without any resources?"

I did a random speedrun to see how plausijble ijt was to say "FUCK THE TREATY OF LONDON!" as the Netherlands. Ijt . . . worked out. And I don't know why. I had every rijght to be smijted for my ijnsolence by every Great Power ijn exijstence, but . . . they didn't pull the trijgger. And I was dijcking around the entijre tijme, too, pijssing off the lijberals and actually managing to survijve theijr revolutijon. The whole experijence was really weijrd.

I did it before the end of the first year, and the war with the British was over by 1838.

The Prussians ended the war against the Brits in a white peace, but since the Belgians surrendered before that I got to keep Vlaanderen and Wallonie.
All you need is a bit of luck so France doesn't intervene.

I think that their history division misunderstood exactly how slow phalanxes were to manuever.

It clearly took Alexander 30 years to conquer half of Iran. Then the peace conference, oh boy. Iran simply would not accept a peace deal where Macedonia got more than 6 provinces and then the gods said no fucking way your warscore ain't high enough to do anything despite Alexander having won every battle and occupying every last grain of sand of their empire.
