I don't think there's that much money to steal, Mr. Steward.

How did my steward steal 2000 odd coins from my mediocre bottom line? I appointed him very recently so you can't say it's mediocre because of him or something like that.

I'm sorry, there's just no way I'm going to get excited or buy a sequel to a game I've put hundreds of dollars in whose last DLC came out like a year ago. I think it's totally superfluous. There's just zero reason to get excited about it.

Given there were two years between HoI IV's first dev diary and release, I'd assume there's at least that long left before release if not longer, doubly so that Paraddox know the IR launch was a shitshow and so they need to redeem themselves and not fuck up again.

Congrats. I've had two successful runs that way;

Once by allying burgundy, britanny, and aragon, and once because France DOW'd Britanny before the surrender of Maine and got into a war with Austria, and they actually declined to demand it.

Delhi run time, going for Sultan of Delhi achievement. Going... alright I guess, except for a small problem.

Multan, Timurids, and Jaunpur are allies. (And only mission tree paths for expansion involve those 3 powers.).

I've managed to just about edge out a war where I can take 3 Multan provinces, so I can chip away at them all, but i'm lagging in tech due to development rushing for reinassance and have no manpower left. So... I guess it's time to recover for a while, then try hitting Multan or Jaunpur again. Bengal is my ally and is actually managing to take out Orissa, so maybe next i'll hit Jaunpur and call them in. With 100 warscore against Jaunpur I can take 80 warscore worth of core provinces and still not hit 50 AE, it'll practically double my empires size. From there it'll probably be smooth sailing until I need to betray Bengal.

First idea group is going to be religious I think, then diplomatic, then some mil idea, then admin, then influence. I'll grow some vassals ready for the influence thing.

I think I managed to do that once (and only once), but was immediately hit by multiple war decs post winning from the likes of Burgundy. My manpower was pretty much 0 so I got absolutely stomped.

The Oirat Tumu crisis is so fun, but you can't Great Khan with them.

Still, occupying half of Ming by 1449 is funny as fuck. And they're one of the only sources of permanent +5 horde unity for neutral horde unity.

1 from Oirat idea, 1 from Vajayanaannanaraifgiaiarya buddhism, 1 from Qarakorum, 1 from Mongol Empire Government, 1 from Admin-Aristo ideas.

So maybe it's worth it if you're not aiming for achievements and just want a fun game where you break ming super early and snowball. Snaking your way down you can seize Beijing and get striking distance of Nanjing, by the time Ming recovers from devestation you can DOW again and seize Nanjing, then they'll never recover and remain pathetically weak, allowing you to just attack them over and over until you fancy seizing the mandate yourself.

(In case anyone doesn't know, as Oirat, defeat a ming army headed by the emperor to capture him. This triggers the crisis and gives you a morale bonus against ming armies. You then have a couple of years to siege down Beijing before they appoint a new emperor. If you do it, all of northern china is automatically occupied.).

Yeah I resorted to taking out loans and hiring mercenaries to out last France near the end.
