Russia is absolutely shitting the bed with it's opening offensive against me as to be expected, so far losing about 30K. Unfortunately Serbia is managing to keep a hold of Belgrade, and Germany seems to have yet to invite the Ottomans to join the Central Powers, and Bulgaria has evidently opted for the non-ligned national focus tree and not the pro-German one, which is kind of worrying because if both the Ottomans and Bulgaria end up not joining the war Russia will be able to pull more troops to the Eastern front and I'm going to be on my own in the Balkans when Greece and Montenegro join. Things will be even worse when Italy decides to join the war as well.

I don't see the problem in using something to get to a point where something is actually plausible to play or do. I use mods and such all the time when playing as a very minor nation in HoI or something in order to get some more factories or defenses in order to get to a point where I am actually able to do something with the game.

Evidently instead of sending men to die on the beaches of Gallipoli, the Brits are sending them to die on the beaches of Zara and Dalmatia. Half of them dont even reach the beach because their ships are sunk by submarines before they even get close to land.

Side note though, Is the AI pretty much unaffected by manpower numbers? Because at this point it says some 30,000 Serbs and 360,000 Frenchmen have been killed so far and yet their divisions that currently exist all seem to immediately be back at 100%, as well as continually cranking out new divisions.

Thats the Baptism of the Rus achievement down, my wars against the Khazars were going badly, but i was able to pounce on some rebelling lords and take over their land and created the Kingdom of Ruthenia so i could get a conversion done. Character got to take a new name since he became a christian, went with Alexander and left his old name of Yelisey behind. Also changed my coat of arms to a christian one to add to the effect.


Now to carve out the Empire of the Russia and nab that Achievement too. And if im able to, i might try and get the slavic empire achievement too wayyyy down the line.

It just seemed like there was relatively little impact considering more than a quarter of a million men are dead and gone in under 3 months, but I forgot about the different laws that would probably balance it out.

The AI does seem to have some cheatiness when it comes to a lot of things, equipment and manpower included. At least in my experience. Than again, running out of either isn't actually that big a deal unless you really overcommit.
