If you want a reactionary government, you basically have hold fast at the very beginning of the game and hope and pray that you don't suffer a catastrophic revolt during the Age of Liberalism. It's basically impossible to return to reactionary parties once you start dishing out certain reforms.

It was fucking crazy, even more so when at the same time this was happening i had just utterly thrashed germany, who split into multiple states, one of which was the NGF which went fascist and then another state went communist as well, or the commie one might have been a puppet.

It was madness. the 1910-20s in that game were a roller coaster of ideological emotions

I honestly don't fucking know.

I have gotten a few events but I seriously doubt they were enough to swing 76 million people towards reactionary, especially when my population growth is apparently entirely dependent on people either not emigrating because they don't like the Nationalist party and yet them somehow still getting into the upper house and/or on immigrants not liking the fact they don't get citizenship under the dumb nationalists.

Granted, I guess I don't mind the Nationaliberale party being in power since they're jingoists, shame they're also laissez faire and free trade.

If only I could make the perfect Nationalist party that doesn't mind turning immigrants into North Germans...

I've been meaning to do the latter one for a long time. I'd probably make Stalin a Slavic or Suomenusko pagan, then reform the religion to be hyper-militaristic with Temporal authority.
The end goal would be to form the Slavic Union and acquire all the land that the USSR held in 1941, as well as making sure that the Holy Roman Empire (i.e. the First Reich) meets its end at Soviet hands.
