I am so glad the internet can't see me play the Rise of Islam mod. Everytime Ali does something weird or dies early I can feel myself getting banned from Iran and Iraq. Sometimes the things that happen in this mod would probably get me banned from most every Muslim country.

Got into playing CK2 again and I feel like the Great Works thing wasn't there when I first started playing it months ago. I'm right, right? Or did I completely ignore that whole aspect of CK2 when I was playing it literally everyday a few months ago?

Also, I'm in need of more entertaining playthroughs of CK2 if you guys have any suggestions - mods or challenges to do and play and whatnot. Current playthrough is pretty fun, though. Playing as Navarre, started in the 9th century start point. Up to 1030s now and the Reconquista has finished. Now fighting with Castille and some other smaller kingdoms and counties for control of Iberia. Chose Navarre because it had the absolute cognatic thing that I wanted to try out.

House Godwin 1066. Defeat William and Harald then have your relatives become monarchs of as many countries as possible.

My main man Haesteinn or whatever he’s called nowadays. He’s the obligatory suggestion for when you want to do anything.
He’s a viking in 867 Brittany with many options. Create a Norse Brittany, invade the divided Karlings, take part in the viking conquests of the British Isles, put some Germanic flavor into the Reconquista, conquer the Mediterranean, Africa, the Levant, Scandinavia, the Baltics, the Balkans, Russia...
heck, go on an exodus to India. It’s difficult but possible.
Though he was nerfed with the Holy Fury patch, he’s still very fun.

Well, this is awkward. I have two twins, one's a genius, the other, an imbecile. Now how do I murder the latter so the elder can inherit?

This is a very interesting proposition. How would crossing to India even be possible?

Hop from Brittany to Egypt, Arabia, or Persia and then to India. Of course, the stuff in between Brittany and India will be very dangerous, but some luck can go a long way.

The Ancient Relics story pack has been announced for Stellaris. Really doesn't look like there's much to it beyond what we've already seen in DDs, I expect it'll come within a mere few weeks.

That might require effort though.

TBH I'm more interested in the changes to megastructures and manual sector control than I am with the actual DLC content.
