My character, Zaleslan the Great, sultan of Sicily, bane of the Three Republics, conqueror of Rome, has achieved immortality. This is good, because I won't rest before he is emperor of Rome.

Playing as a Berber emir in the Med is incredibly fun. Every year, you put your raiders on a boat, you sail to either Genoa, Pisa, Venice or Rome, you loot it dry, and then you go back home again. Being sultan of Sicily, I have now set up two of my own merchant republics to control the Med.
The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.

Much to my sad heart- the changes I desired- are no more :'( pleasee if I am mistaken let me know. But from what I read they are abandoned. DAMN THE APOCALPYSE! DAMNE THE!

Old Goals
[list[*]]A 'galactic community' with interstellar politics and a 'space UN'.
[*]Deeper Federations that start out as loose alliances and can eventually be turned into single states through diplomatic manuevering.
[*]More story events and reactive narratives that give a sense of an unfolding story as you play.
[*]More interesting mechanics for pre-FTL civilizations.
[*]'Living systems', making empire systems feel more alive and lived in.[/list]

All that I desire- why do I still play this game? Why did I come back after having been gone for around five months :'( I'm such a weak modder- can I truly add all this or is such doomed!

we're going to organize the goals into the ones we feel have been delivered on, old goals that were added to the list before 2.0, and new goals that we have set for ourselves after 2.0 (there is no prioritization difference between goals based on when they were added or whether they are considered old or new for this particular list).

I saw that but what does it mean?....
oh...

... thank you illuminating me on my blind run into fearful denial of it meaning anything good. Due to my already stressed mind I had taken the sentence to mean- well- the utter opposite. I now feel like a Dhramak whose bones have been strapped to the hood of a mighty vessel for my failure to be a warning to all.

Thank you- my fear impulse tends to give way to paranoia and irrational action.

A part of mind has the strong impression that all is lost for the game and I'm having trouble rationalizing out of such compulsion.

So I started yet another German Reich game, and everything's going fine since it's 1937 and all. Though one thing did make me question the AI in my game. It seems that the Allies have decided to go to war against Iran. I just want to know how the heck they're gonna get there...

Europe in the aftermath of WK2 in this Austria game is actually fairly nice I think.

I'd kinda prefer if Russia just ate Belorussia instead of grabbing a part and then puppeting it and creating horrid border gore in the process but I'm pretty happy with this how game went.

Those borders are so smooth- except as you noted Belorussia- but still this is I dare say wholesome.

Let me see if I can get this straight in my head: the AUS and CSA would be fighting each other as well as the USA, the PSA would've been fighting the USA even before Canada got involved, so once they did, Canada would have been fighting literally all of the other main American factions. And Mexico definitely got involved at some point considering that they own a bit of California. Is that right?

That is completely correct, and Mexico is still at war with the PSA, the PSA btw has officially joined the Entente after they basically won the 2nd ACW for them.

In my current Kreich game The Pac owns the west coast of canada and alaska while losing SOCAL to Villa (who is pretty rare in my games). The Pac is a very inconsistent nation but they typically survive until Kaiserreich's greatest contribution to HOI4 modding kicks in: too many focus trees, too many divisions, and too many simultaneous wars aka Hearts Of Even More Lag
