I formed Great Britain on CK2+ in 38 years, starting from 1000.
I was able to usurp the Scottish throne for my son and diplo-vassalize most of the land I needed in Wales. Plenty of gerrymandering was involved. Wales and Scotland were granted to vassals and I destroyed the title of England for stability.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I wanted to share something last night: the Papal States are the leading Charter snipers despite not having much more than their original 1444 territory.

They have four provinces in Africa: Within Jolof, south of Nupe, the Kongolese coast, and the obvious one in Kilwa.

And four in Asia: One on the Vijay western, southern coast, a snub off the tip in Bengal, an extremely annoying province that I was about to take in Sumatra, and a random Philippine province.

Its intent is to encourage war between major colonizers and India, and to create enclaves like many smaller nations did historically. The system certainly has its quirks right now, which I sure will be patched, but overall it is rather interesting to see lesser nations properly antagonizing the Africans and Indians. It's the right of every European, really.

But the most interesting thing is that a Croation bloke won the crusade of Jerusalem. I have never seen anyone who wasn't German, French, or Italian win a crusade.

I once had a game as the King of Georgia where the Knights Templar managed to get the Kingdom of Jerusalem. Every time the Fatimids as much as looked at the Holy Land funny they were torn to shreds by zealous doomstacks, the drone of 'deus vult' in the background.
