Guys its back Disney has finally made a move to bring back the greatest Star Wars TV show. When it was cancelled with the story unfinished, Disney has agreed to have 12 more episodes to finish the story. Honestly Im happy, the recent star wars works(Last Jedi, and Solo) have been lack luster and at times poorly executed, but now they are bringing back a show, that was dark, gritty, light, comedic at times, with excellent characters and character development, you were able to get attached to characters and even selt sad when clones like 5's or 99 died. But here is what two sources have to say:

SyFy Wire

The original series, which ran for five seasons on Cartoon Network was abruptly canceled mid-season 6 when Disney bought Lucasfilm, leaving fans wondering what happened next in the story and what Dave Filoni had planned. Over the years, some of those episodes have been posted in various states of completion, but no one ever learned how it all ended.

Thanks to Dave Filoni, we're about to find out what happened next and Star Wars fans are losing their ever-loving minds.

IGN

Disney showed off a trailer at the panel. The trailer begins with dialogue between various members of the Clone army, suggesting that specific clones will be featured in the show. A missile comes and destroys hundreds of Clone helmets in a row. Text appears, saying "A war left unfinished... until now."

The end of the trailer features a shot of Ahsoka Tano, padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker. She says to him through a hologram: "Hello master, it's been awhile."

Original supervising director Dave Filoni, who is returning for this continuation, said that the show is coming to Disney's upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service set to debut in 2019. No release date has been given.

"I honestly didn't think we would ever have the opportunity to return to The Clone Wars," said Filoni. "Thanks to the relentless fan support and the team behind Disney's direct-to-consumer streaming service, we will now get to tell more of those stories."

These new Clone Wars episodes will continue the storylines introduced in the original series, which dug into the events leading up to Revenge of the Sith. Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex are all confirmed to return.

Disney also showed off a poster featuring a Clone helmet, with #CloneWarsSaved displayed - a hashtag created by fans wishing to resurrect the series.

You're probably right. Disney was the one that cancelled the show in the first place. But, if they don't,

FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!

Although, I should probably be cheering for my self, the Galactic Democracy

The warning signs were there along with the Evil Mouse Empire disposing of all the Expanded Universe materials they could have picked and choosed from like the workload of an abortion clinic, then getting J.J. Abrams to make the new films.

Inaccurate. Disney was very interested in keeping a money -making machine like the Clone Wars carry on on their own networks, but there were some issues with the animation/distribution rights that forces Disney's hand.

Disney literally did nothing wrong.

Except for Rogue One.

Except for Rogue One.

Rogue One is the only Disney SW film that's any good.

Disney literally did nothing wrong.

Except for Rogue One.

TFA was a million times worse. It was just a bad knockoff of A New Hope. Also. Rogue One has everyone die at the end, which is a nice touch.

This is how I know I can stop taking your opinions on these movies seriously if you think that confusing mix of giant set pieces was any good.

I mean, they kinda had to. And TFA is much better than Rogue One, at least there are characters in that movie.

I'm sorry if I like consistent world building more then the appalling script of TLJ.

Extremely flat and bland characters yes.

This. Rogue One actually turned out well, but that's an outlier.

I'll suspended my excitement for a continuation of Clone Wars til I see the product.

You dont get to have consistent worldbuilding with a universe with so many minds behind it over the course of decades. Especially with how George "everything is kind of canon" handled it.

Ok I loved clone wars and with Dave Filoni once again at the helm I am excited but I am worried a bit. First off while Dave Filoni is a good director I am worried that they will do what they did with Rebels and force him to go more pg. Also with The last jedi and to a lesser extent The force awakens and rouge one being messy poorly made films does not help that.
