This. Rogue One actually turned out well, but that's an outlier.

I'll suspended my excitement for a continuation of Clone Wars til I see the product.

Not that Rogue One was a GREAT movie but it was certainly better than the other 2 Disney films, I enjoyed how they neatly made everything fit into A New Hope.
Well, except for this.

Dude what the fuck I literally can watch Rogue One right now and have no idea why these people's motivations keep switching around.

Really? I didn't find it difficult at all really.

I...I...can't believe this. It's really coming back! And it's even in the original animation format! Man, I'm excited now. Although Anakin and Obi-Wan could use a touch-up...but I don't care too much. I'm just happy it's back, and that it's probably finally going to be concluded.

Guessing from the trailer, the usual cast is going to be fighting the Mandolorians and Ahsoka. Now Captain Rex is going to have an even more diverse list of kills.

The only motivation that doesn't seem to exist is Saw's, but that might be because I've not read his Wookiepedia page.

Yeah, when I say it turned out well, I mean it wasn't complete garbage like the other two....In fact, I have yet to work up the courage to watch Solo.

Based on Ahsoka, I can hazard the following:
1. Orange clones.
2. Jedi/Blue Mandalorians/Ahsoka versus the red ones.
3. ORANGE. CLONES.

I find it funny that characters went from "there's no such thing as hope" to "rebellions are built on hope" and "I'm not dying for this cause" to "fuck yeah suicide mission" in the span of fifteen minutes, or one outing with these people. Most of those characters are half-baked and underdeveloped, and they really go for a lot of unearned character moments, particularly towards the end.

If I had to guess (or from what I really want) I'm guessing we're getting three archs of four episodes, one for the Siege of Mandalore, one for the Bad Batch, and one for the Mystery on Utapau. Also known as the three unfinished archs that were heavily teased at us.

Well I mean he was pretty cynical to begin with his experience in the Clone Wars, he was effectively trained as a terrorist against the Separtists by the Republic.

Friendly reminder that from every standard from which a movie can be judged, none of these movies are bad in any critical sense you can watch a movie.

They deserved to die. All those stupid social libertarian need a reminder neoconservative dictatorships will win because they are stable and everyone loves them except malcontents, and a criminal opinion doesn't matter.

I guess he must have seen some fucked up shit or something, but his ideology kept pushing him along to continue with it or something.

Also, it's important to note that the people driving this project along are mostly carry-overs from the original Clone Wars and Rebels, so I don't see the paranoia that this will be bad very justified.

They occupied the planet right after he freed it from the separatists, making the effort (which his sister died in) an absolute waste. Anyone with emotions would of felt cheated by the universe, which why human beings are inferior to daleks, and should not be in control of their lives.

Sure there watchable but that does not make them good. I mean the characters are god awful like Rey a flat bland Mary Sue character who always does the right thing and has no real flaws. Or Luke one of the most optimistic and forgiving character who firmly believed that Vader could be redeemed who at the mere thought his friends were in danger he left his training to save them. Turned into a guy who would try to kill his nephew because he was a kinda going to the dark side and who abandoned his friend for no reason given other than fuck you thats why. They are filled with plot holes and cheap action scenes and especially in the last jedi forced political messages. These are only a few reasons why the Disney movies and especially the last jedi are bland messy poorly made films.

No, they are good. At least "okay" by most metrics. But I'm not going to derail the thread (any further than I already have sorry) by talking about this.

Guys its back Disney has finally made a move to bring back the greatest Star Wars TV show. When it was cancelled with the story unfinished, Disney has agreed to have 12 more episodes to finish the story. Honestly Im happy, the recent star wars works(Last Jedi, and Solo) have been lack luster and at times poorly executed, but now they are bringing back a show, that was dark, gritty, light, comedic at times, with excellent characters and character development, you were able to get attached to characters and even selt sad when clones like 5's or 99 died. But here is what two sources have to say:

Is it bad I laughed when CT-5555 died?
