Guys its back Disney has finally made a move to bring back the greatest Star Wars TV show. When it was cancelled with the story unfinished, Disney has agreed to have 12 more episodes to finish the story. Honestly Im happy, the recent star wars works(Last Jedi, and Solo) have been lack luster and at times poorly executed, but now they are bringing back a show, that was dark, gritty, light, comedic at times, with excellent characters and character development, you were able to get attached to characters and even selt sad when clones like 5's or 99 died. But here is what two sources have to say:

The warning signs were there along with the Evil Mouse Empire disposing of all the Expanded Universe materials they could have picked and choosed from like the workload of an abortion clinic, then getting J.J. Abrams to make the new films.

Most of that EU material was complete YA Fiction crap anyway...


No great loss in tossing it. And some of the good elements are being re-introduced (Thrawn).

While people get nostalgic for EU stories that were mostly hot garbage is beyond me.

What people tend to forget is, most of the people actually making day-to-day creative decision at Lucasfilm are the Lucas Story Group, the same group who did it for decades with the EU.

In other words, the people doing the stories today that lots of people dislike are the same ones who did the stories for decades that so many people love and claim to want back.

Anybody who thinks it's this massive bunch of newbies who don't know Star Wars hasn't checked the pedigree of Lucas Story Group's present members.

That said, I hope the reconstituted show works out.
