Btw, why is Lusty Argonian Maid only listed at $3, when there were $13 in the thread?

Add my 12 dollars into Argonian maid.

Because it amuses me, I bought supporter status for Gallade. So that's $3 on the lusty argonian maid.

Found this relevant article... What Book or Article Would You Make Required Reading for Everyone on Earth? One of the participants is the president of the The American Writers Museum. I used their contact form to share the following idea...

I just saw the Atlantic article where your president, Carey Cranston, shared the one book that he believes everybody in the world should read.

Imagine your organization asking everybody the same question. But instead of people simply voting for their preferred book, they would donate for it.

A while back I read a story about how a library used "donation voting" to decide which librarian would jump into icy water... http://www.dailyleaderextra.com/news/lo ... b52d1.html

While this might be considered a fun thing to decide, it is also rather frivolous. Why not use donations to decide which book is the one book that everyone should read? Of course this would generate quite a bit of discussion and debate, which would mean lots of free publicity for your organization. Plus, it would help raise money for your organization. Most importantly we'd all learn about the most important books in the world.

Personally, I'd donate for The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. I'd love to know how much higher, or lower, The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin would be ranked. Would these two books be ranked higher or lower than Harry Potter? Which would be the highest ranked American book? Chances are pretty good that I haven't already read it.

There are far more books than time to read them all, so naturally we have to prioritize. What if the best way to prioritize books is to donate for the best ones?

Was it before or after this thread was created? According to the rules, prior purchases aren't applicable.

Except the rules don't actually say purchases made before the thread was created aren't acceptable.

But hey, anything to disenfranchise people who vote against you, right Xero?

My favorite book so far has to be the Codex Seraphinianus. The whole book is a bizarre experience.

Sorry but prior donations can't be used for your favorite book. If you want to donate for it then you'll have to make a donation for another member. But you're welcome to vote for this book.

^ What I got also. I want to defend myself again that this was made before the thread because come on, I need the Telegram space. And this is the very first time I am voting, so why shouldn't previous donations not apply?

I appreciate your protest. But the point of this thread is to make sure that every member of this community is a supporter. Don't you have any friends that you could buy a gift for? Aren't there any members whose posts you particularly appreciate?

Well, technically speaking, if you buy from anytime and you voted for the very first time, you're still a supporter.

For friends, I know quite a few, but until I get bigger income for myself, I cannot sadly donate to anyone. All the money my family and I have also go to food, water, shelter, education (University/College costs a crapton of money, trust me), so there's that. But I know a few, so maybe in the future.

This is what I mean when I keep bashing you over the head with definitions and semantics.

Have you ever taken a writing class Xero? It might benefit you to actually take a couple of them in college. Because you suck at communicating your point.

You leave too much open for interpretation. I see you haven't responded on the other thread we are discussing your experiments, but I know why, because you got nothing to reply to a very concise post telling you what you need to do.

I don't leave things open to interpretation, maybe you should learn how to do the same instead of whining about nobody understanding your point.
