Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

SCP 1609 is such a good defence for the SCP approach that I really consider it a vital one for someone who wants to understand the mindset and universe. A similar thing with SCP 1730 (which, to be honest, if you're not listening to this while reading the last few entries, you're doing it wrong).
As for raw favourites.... SCP 516 can only make me smile. SCP 423 has the best description of James Joyce's Ulysses I've ever seen. SCP 3930 is simply spooky on a level difficult to point a finger on.
And 682 is such a troll I don't think we even need to elaborate on it .
