256 MY: Maximilian III ordered a reorganization of the ation. The nation will be renamed Maxtopian Union. The vassals and cities will be reorganized as Commune regions. Meanwhile, he created a new economic system, called Communitism. It is an economic system that emphasized the local economy and wider people, by equally distributing wealth and putting all business under the state, to be controlled by government members and the locals together. Peasants were also sent to work with the farmlands, with a new method used, the crop rotation technique. Farm tools were also researched, as well as new fertilizers.

243-253 MY:
The government is destroyed in a rebellion led by Maximilian the Just, who crowns himself Emperor. Under his guidance, an agricultural revolution takes place, ending the famine once and for all.
In order to achieve this, however, the lands of the ruling nobles were seized and converted into farmland, and a portion of their wealth was taken to pay sages to research new farming methods, which makes the nobles very angry indeed. They use what little wealth they have to hire a mercenary army in order to depose Maximilian and regain power, and after a few early victories by the mercenaries, the war seems to be in a stalemate between the Imperial Army and the mercenary forces. The war rages on still, so who will prove victorious?

The government is destroyed in a rebellion led by Maximilian the Just, who crowns himself Emperor. Under his guidance, an agricultural revolution takes place, ending the famine once and for all.

256 MY- During the chaos of the reorganization period, some provinces secede from the Maxtopian Union. Among them are Blackacre, Ernrac, and a large stretch of swampland to the far south called Hist. They all send treaties to the Maxtopian Union, asking if they can stay on good terms with their former ruler.

257 MY: The Union quickly falls apart with the secession of Maxtopia's Imperial holdings. Maxtopia is now reduced to only some of it's conquest, Moderia, Maxland, Barbicon, the Order of Coin, and other areas. However, Maximilian III decided to pursue good relations with the seceding provinces, knowing that the nation is not yet ready for another war.

256-257 MY:
Pferdreich and the Vögel Empire send economic and political aid to the newly seceding provinces, hoping to keep them from turning over to communism, which is viewed as corrupt in their nations.

258 MY: Doddydom and the Western Hamlets provinces experience the best crop of the century. Emperor Maximillian uses the plentiful food as evidence that he was annointed by the gods to be ruler.

258 (cont.)-261 MY:
A cult appears worshiping Emperor Maximilian as the one true god, and quickly gains power in Maxland until it effectively becomes a state religion. Maximilian is unhappy about the fact that the police force is effectively an inquisition, but he is unable to do anything about it without risking another civil war.

258-261 MY:
Due to agricultural needs, the calendar is reinvented, this time organizing days into months and months into years, so farmers will know when to harvest their crops.
Also during this time period, Heinrich Mark is born, who will become one of the highest praised musicians of all time.

262-340 MY: An era of peace and prosperity for the country. In this time there are 6 shortlived emperors. Science, the arts and the economy flurish. Ernrac is peacefully reintegrated into the country in 288 MY, but otherwise borders are completely unchanged.

340 MY: Emperor Mark-Francis the second is crowned.

350-355 MY

After a long exodus and extended period of isolation, the first Technocratic Eumerian Republic is founded beyond a mountain range on a lush, fertile plain bordering a river. Eumar Lesiduous is crowned the first Kaiser, with the capital, Nasstasia, being founded near the river. Kaiser Lesidious enacts laws emphasizing Genius, and technological contributions to society as the greatest of Merits.

262 MY:
With the continued chaos of the destruction of the original Ulma Vriska still in affect, Nekojimonia decides to basically go “fuck it” and begin to expand their territory within the Grand Mountains. With the intention to control all of it and use it for trade, fortunately for them literally no other nation lays claims to the Great Mountains because it was considered impossible to colonize.
They also show no intention to expand outside the Great Mountains which is nice I guess.
320 MY:
Because nobody really noticed the changes in the Great Mountains due to trade nearly halting as some passages become unusable for humans to ever use. And such, with the exception of some very narrow passages, Nekojimonia controls the entirety of the Great Mountains. And again, they show no intention to expand past them. Content with their Mountain Country.

In a harbor somewhere in the Vogel Empire's waters, a massive ship can be seen in the distance. The flag bears unknown symbols, and the design, although at the same technology level as the rest of the known world, has a radically different design. It does not stay around for long and sails back out to the deeper waters of the sea from where it came from.

341 MY: Heinrich Mark dies peacefully of old age. He leaves behind a legacy of music that most would envy.

Also in this year, Emperor Mark-Francis II's wife dies during childbirth. The baby, a very small boy, dies just 2 days later.

Also 330-342 MY:
At the sight of the huge ship, Emperor Matthias von Strücker I of the Vögel Empire sent out a fast interceptor but was unable to get back up to it. He names the first month of three year Matthiam after himself.

Over the next decade little happens besides the rebuilding of the agricultural sector in both Pferdreich and the Vögel Empire. Also, one city of Lumenöffnen defects to the Vögel Empire, drawn by its promises of economic aid.

343 MY- It turns out that a mountain in The Great Mountains wasn't actually a mountain; it was a volcano. It erupts, burying the land in volcanic ash. Once the lava cools, it creates a convenient path through the Mountains, wide enough for an army to trickle through.
Also, there's another famine. Ash blocking the sun does that, ya know.

344 MY:
In a stroke of brilliance, soldiers clad head to toe in steel armor subdue the panicking peasants of the northern Vögel Empire and Pferdreich. There are a few minor clashes in the city of Bavaria in which the soldiers each believe is their city, which is somewhat confusing to everyone overall considering that Pferdreich is a vassal state of the Vögel Empire.

345 MY:
Lumenöffnen’s colonies in the continent to the west, nicknamed the Lichtiginnen, struck gold, literally and figuratively. A huge vein of gold is unearthed, and the economy booms. The colonies of the Pferdreich were turned over to the Vögel empire in the same year.

344 MY:
The Nekojishi begin to leave the mountains, looking towards clear blots of unclaimed land outside of the Great Mountains. They send a colonization team to claim the land, they also prepare defenses alongside it in event of attack.

355 MY:
The months of the Calendar have finished getting named. The months are as follows: Matthiam, Maxiam, Barbad, Strücken, Markam, Nachtbären, Xerxiam.

(OOC: I intentionally left it at 7 months so more can be added. Keep in mind they can be renamed over time, but remember for whom each is named before you consider a renaming. I chose most of these from prominent people/families thought the history so far.)

It turns out that the Mountains are quite an unstable area, with an earthquake destroying the path created from the last volcanic eruption. Enormous chunks of rock isolate several forward outposts, whose inhabitants eventually starve in the harsh environment.

360-362 MY
Kaiser Lesidious enacts a law killing off all mentally unstable, disabled, and institutes an assessment that all young persons must pass in order to receive a license to reproduce.

363 MY: The earthquake in the mountain also affected other nations near it.

Meanwhile, Kaiser Lesidious decided to do further study into eugenics. He decided to enlist scientists to study about it, starting with plants and animals (basically, something like Mendel's experiment. And don't call it too advanced. Mendel found the theory by observing beans, not with genetics)

An artist, known simply as Heinz, is born in the eastern city of Kelsier in Lumenoffnen.
