I would like to see the "Horus Heresy" books adapted to the big screen. 40k needs to be known

Id' love to see Use of Weapons adapted, but realistically it's too complex a book. Failing that, The Player of Games and Surface Detail are much more linear and thus easier to screen-ify.

Amazon is apparently developing a TV series based on Consider Phlebas.

I'd love to see The Abhorsen Trilogy, by Garth Nix, adapted to the screen. Although the main series is composed of 5 books total, I'd love to see the first 3 (Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen) in a movie.

I would love to see New York the Novel by Edward Rutherford adapted. It would not work as a a film but would make a amazing tv series.
