Establishing that Jango was just a skilled mercenary with Mando armor -rather than an actual Mandalorian- was part of the Mandalorian retcon TCW went through was making all Mandos white, blond, and blue. Of course, I'm 90% sure Rebels and the new Mandalorian Series both contradict said retcon.

There is a real life "what if" that didn't happen. George Lucas after the final film of original trilogy, almost sold Star Wars to Fox. In our timeline, Disney bought Fox. But if the deal happened to where Fox got Star Wars earlier on, do people think Disney wouldn't have been able to buy Fox as it did? Would we have seen lots of better Star Wars material compared to what we got?

The rumor mill has some big news pertaining to Star Wars. Creator George Lucas allegedly wants to return to it, and isn't a happy camper about what has happened with Star Wars since he sold it. He believes Disney has made a mess of it so far.

I don't see how he could buy it back practically speaking, but if Disney would let him, he might write more for it or pull some strings to bring it back to how he wants it.

What are you trying to imply, the Prequels are a Shakespearean masterpiece with no faults whatsoever that was never hated and George Lucas is an extraordinary man that was totally not treated like dogshit over a couple of movies he made, no siree.

Honestly, reading Colin Trevorrow's script pains me. It sounds like it would have been a far superior film to The Rise of Skywalker.

I’ve seen concept art from his work on the film. There would have been plot points like a First Order occupied Coruscant, Finn leading larger groups of defected Stormtroopers, a transmission from Leia encouraging resistance broadcasted across the galaxy, and an uprising in the Coruscant underground complete with stolen First Order weaponry along with old weapons leftover from the Empire and Clone Wars Republic. There’s also artwork of Rey with a double bladed lightsaber, a Kylo Ren that looks exactly like Revan, and Hux stabbing himself with a lightsaber.

This doesn’t mean all of this stuff would appear in the movie, but it looked pretty gosh darn cool.
