Cool

There was a schism over the future the Jedi should take when they were still on Tython, and there was another when they were spacefaring where the darksiders became the Legions of Lettow.

Ever since the Sith were founded, every dark Jedi seems to find their way to that Order or create their own version. Jedi leave the order for different reasons though, so every major schism is its own light side dark side conflict in a way, even if it always leads to Sith.
Thanks for the info. I was thinking more though between competing lightside groups over small differences in ideology.

Interesting premise.

Yeah can I get uhh... Jedi disagreement with no galactic genocide?

I don't know what heavily modded game you played, but I clearly remember Starkiller not being a crybaby. Actually, he was more emotionless than anything.

Basically, if they're not like Darth Maul in TPM then they're emotional pussies by Ameri's standards.

Care to name a moment where you found him to be unreasonably emotional? I would say he was repressed if anything.

Also, you're aware Starkiller WAS a teenager during TFU... Right?

I mean I can't recall much specific about it. I only beat it once, and it was like 12 years ago. But I do remember finding him annoying and whiny. So ergo he must have been such.

So a 17 year old beat Vader and went toe to toe with Palpatine? Well that makes me quite firmly believe that TFU being non cannon is a good thing.

To be fair, he was a prodigy on the level of Luke ( within the old EU of course ):

"The Apprentice is the photo negative of Luke Skywalker. He's been raised by Darth Vader, and is what Luke would have become if he had joined his father. Vader's not a very nice daddy. This guy has been raised to be a Jedi. When the Jedi use the Force, they respect it and don't overuse it. The bad guys - the Sith - keep testing their limits. Vader discovered this person who had the potential to be the most powerful Force user ever. He's up there with the top tier. He's extremely powerful. Vader has trained him in such a way that he just kept pushing his limitations, seeing how far he could use the Force. So, where a normal Jedi might use the Force to trick his way past a few stormtroopers, the apprentice might use the Force to bring down an adjacent building on top of those stormtroopers. He's extremely confident in everything he does. He's been trained by Vader to be an assassin, an unstoppable force." - Insider 100.

Don't forget him also beating several experienced Jedi masters and pulling a Star Destroyer out of the sky.

And yet people think Rey is the Mary-Sue...

Rey doing complex things with the Force we've never seen from any other Force user in canon is the part most people are confused by, not her simply having a great deal of raw power.

Or the fact that she was able to use pretty complex force techniques with no prior training while Starkiller was raised since the age of 5 by Vader to be a Jedi Killer.

Fair enough I guess. It still really hampers the idea of Vader being an unstoppable monster in my mind though. I much prefer his appearance in Fallen Order than TFU.
