Maybe that's just me though.

Getting a proton torpedo in a two meter wide ventilation shaft could also be considered unlikelyFedel wrote:HC Eredivisie wrote:He did befriend them when he saved them from a mining station or something earlier in the season and even then he'd actually had to go in deep space to get them. I view it similarly to how I view Lando going across the galaxy to get a random collection of people with ships to face off against the largest and most powerful military fleet that had ever existed up to that point.
The ability to influence living things with the Force and ability to influence people with words to persuade them are both concepts that exist within Star Wars.
Ezra "befriending" space whales and "Ezra steering a bunch of space whales through hyperspace to slam into a military fleet" is similar to "Lando befriending people" and "Lando being able to assemble a fleet of ships large enough to take on the largest/most powerful fleet in galactic history in very little time."
The characters accomplishing a less effective versions of such events would seem to be reasonable but as they were, they seem rather unlikely to me.

You have a point, I just wanted to mention that Ezra's space whale plan was at least a bit foreshadowed. And Lando does probably know a lot of people, though they might not all come to help.

Yeah, it also has Ahsoka. Whose mere existence kind of nullifies any claims of good writing.

Depends on which Ashoka were talking about. Movie and season 1-2 Ashoka? Pretty annoying character. Season 3-7? An amazing well developed character. Something you would know if you would actually bother to watch the rest of the show. Instead of just the weakest parts.

"It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters."
:>
But yeah, I agree prior to Rogue One addressing that inconsistency, the exhaust existing in the first place is a glaring problem with ANH.

I did like Rogue One explaining that, it was pretty clever.

No more will I endure.

How can you think it's possible for a single planet to have the resources to build the largest fleet the galaxy has even seen ( even larger than the Imperial Military at its height or the FO which, according to sourcebooks, canonically surpassed the Empire )? And to do so unnoticed at that.

Star Wars has droids with fully sentient AIs. Why not steal some construction droids? Your comparison to irl nazis is an apple to oranges comparison. Not only would that imply that Hitler had access to magic but also it would be the far future with access to automated manufacturing systems, sentient AIs, the ability to go to anywhere in the galaxy to steal materials, and lots of other things. But if you want to make the ww2 comparison I could boot up HOI4 and spend 30 years as a neutral nation to build a lot of ships while the rest of the world burns in the war.
Again, I still doubt that. especially if it Palpatine cloning sillyness if thats how the cultists where made.
If they are a 'nuetral' nation. Then they need supplies and resources to make said ships and to get a steady stream of supplies. Which would draw attention.. like why the hell are smugglers going to God knows where.
Also it defeats the purpose of the sith wayfinders.

I think there was some miscommunication going on here. I never said that they got the resources from one planet, rather ever sense Return Of The Jedi they have been hording materials by stealing from everywhere and everywhere they could. Building a 10,000 strong fleet over 30 years using automated construction droids, scraped dead Star destroyers from the Empire and re-fiting them to have the big cannon.

And how would they realistically accomplish this "accumulation of resources" without giving away Exagol's location?
They literally accumulated enough materials that they created a fleet of capital ships larger than any that had ever existed up to that point.
