I’ve seen concept art from his work on the film. There would have been plot points like a First Order occupied Coruscant, Finn leading larger groups of defected Stormtroopers, a transmission from Leia encouraging resistance broadcasted across the galaxy, and an uprising in the Coruscant underground complete with stolen First Order weaponry along with old weapons leftover from the Empire and Clone Wars Republic. There’s also artwork of Rey with a double bladed lightsaber, a Kylo Ren that looks exactly like Revan, and Hux stabbing himself with a lightsaber.

This doesn’t mean all of this stuff would appear in the movie, but it looked pretty gosh darn cool.

How in Lenin's name did the hack that made Jurassic World propose a better script than JJ's???

But it was free just a few months ago on xbox one man....got pick up on those free star war deals.
Most of my star wars games on my xbox were free ranging from both classic battle fronts to jedi star fighter and everything in between...i had to buy Kotor though but it was literally a few dollars for both.

Meh....people have already said majority of what is was gonna say so ill just point out the kylo ryn died like three times, The knights of ren sucked, darth sidious did a wardrobe change in the middle of a scene(not for the better i might add),
Why the hell didnt it show landos epic journey gathering the galaxy to rise against the empire(im not saying first order), Rey sucked in lightsaber combat and had to be helped by leias cheap distraction, and last but not least the unlimited power that shocked half the freakin sky didnt take out a single ship.....because reasons

To each is own, I liked the use of force healing in that movie tbh. Might be beacuse like a month or two ago I finally finished watched all of Avatar the last air bender and water bending healing kinda grew on me.

The lightsaber duels where epic to me. The fight between Kilo Ren and Ray on the ruins of the second death star was sweet. Wouldn't call that ray sucking at combat.
The power did take out lots of ships. Kinda like the Ion cannon from the Clone wars tv show. Ray was just able to stop it tho.

That’s kinda sad. Ilum was sacred to the Jedi, but it ended up a superweapon with the lightsaber crystals used as a power source.

Not to mention all the desecrated graves of the Imperial and Republic players that died in the great SWTOR pvp war.

I guess they wanted to focus on PT and ST content first since Battlefront 2015 was mainly OT.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a success. Selling 8 million units so far. Surpassing all of EA's projections.

Looks like EA was wrong, this is a triumph of single player. For a long time- companies like EA insisted that only multiplayer/co-op/online services only games were profitable because of the more opportunities for micro-transactions it allows for. There is obviously still a market for games with few to no lootboxes and no recurring monetization.
