According to Cinema Blend.

"As for the fleet of Star Destroyers that Palpatine resurrected in Episode IX's opening sequence, they weren't leftover from the Empire. The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary tell us (via MovieWeb) that the Sith Eternal and their slaves on Exegol spent years constructing the massive ships, including planet killing weapons."

I have the same dim view of this as I have of the Hobbit extended edition.

NEXT STAR WARS SAGA RUMORED TO TAKE PLACE CENTURIES BEFORE THE SKYWALKER SAGA

...

Two days ago, an article from Hungarian Star Wars fan site Ziro appeared concerning a series of rumors related to Project Luminous, which is set to be unveiled at some point this year (likely Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2020). Ziro’s report on Project Luminous states that it is a multimedia effort that Lucasfilm has been developing for quite some time, set approximately 400 years before the events of the Skywalker Saga. (As such, don’t expect this to be an adaptation of Knights of the Old Republic games, which are non-canon and are set thousands of years before the Skywalkers lived, although elements from them have made their way into the canon lore.) The overall concept connecting the Project Luminous stories are a group of Jedi that go out to explore the Unknown Regions of the galaxy, encountering three distinct types of enemies – the most dangerous of which are godlike Sith entities of some kind. Each Jedi will also have a specific set of Force-related skills that make them unique.

....

So nothing but rumours so far but could be interesting, though if accurate it means it wont be set in the old republic time period which would be a shame.

good bit more in the article btw

Hold on, "godlike Sith entities"?
Between this and the stupid red rift from TROS, I'm starting to think JJ or whoever at Lucasfilm is reading Warhammer 40k and are like, "yeah that sounds cool put it in".

You can't get much better than PCSX2 for PS2 emulation, but it takes a bit of work and experimentation to get it working right. But once its set up, its great on a good machine.

People are a bit out of luck for anything that was for Xbox. Xbox was too similar to the PC where no one ever bothered or was able to make an emulator for that. If you can't get an obsolete PC game working via hacks/compatibility modes/or something like a virtual CD (like Daemon Tools Lite) on a current OS like Windows 10, it may be more practical to get a virtual machine with an older OS it can work on, or to just buy the Steam version that is more updated for current use.

Anything from the DOS era, is easy to run with the MSDOS emulator, DOSBox- with many front ends being available for it, to make a GUI for running DOS games from.
-------

For Star Wars news, I hear we'll be getting lots of Old Republic material from Disney soon. Including a TV series set 4,000 years before the Star Wars prequel films. Will or could it be as good as Clone Wars or Rebels? I think I like that time more than anything that takes place after Original Trilogy of movies.

Thanks for the useful information! I hope any Old Republic stuff Disney does is actually good.

So the Lore Master just uploaded a really interesting video talking about what Vader said to Palpatine before yeeting him into the reaction(and yes he did use the term yeet in the title.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD-Q7gxhybo It comes from the radio drama of Return of The Jedi(which is not cannon but I like to think this bit is.) It goes like this:

Vader: My sooooon!
[Vader picks up Palpatine]
Palpatine: Vader! Release me! Vader! I command you! Put me down!
Vader: I will, down the rector!( I could not make out what was actually said) Down to your death!
Palpatine: Vader I am your master!
Anakin: Darth Vaders master! Not Anakin Skywalkers!
[Anakin tosses Palpatine down the reactor]
I do be tired

You know, sometimes extra dialogue is just unnecessary. Needed for a radio drama sure, but not otherwise.

Mace was a fully trained (and one of the most skilled and powerful in the order at the time)Jedi Master with decades of training and experience compared to Rey, the scrapper who has like a year of training at the most. Beside Palpatine could have done a lot more than just shoot lightning at Rey.

Yeah. Managing to hold ¨win¨ in the first boss fight of the game on Jedi Master when during my first play through I got wrecked on Jedi Knight difficulty was some serious big dick energy.

Have any of you heard of Fall of the Republic? It's kind of like a rough draft for ROTS, but it was written in 1983. Could be fake, could be real. Just wondering.

Here you go.

Edit:
Shit, whoops. It was a fan script sent to Lucas, but then it kinda became highway robbery.

Still interesting how close it is sometimes to ROTS.
