Read? No. I write a lot of them though...course those are all romance and none of them are Star Wars, so that's not really applicable here.

It's kind of a long story (and there's potentially disinformation going around) but basically the test screening cut or something else that JJ has confirmed exists includes a lot of things different from the final film we got. For instance, instead of the vague pep talk Rey got from all the dead Jedi the actual force ghosts (minus Ahsoka and Kanan since animated) showed up, Kylo's death scene was longer and had actual dialogue in it and they didn't kiss (since JJ hated the idea of Reylo on the face of it), Kylo had actual conflict moments rather than being a bland villain and other stuff I'm still trying to collate.

Frankly I'm calling bullshit on the whole story because the background on it is that Disney was supposedly so worried about Abrams going to work for DC and thus catapulting the DCEU into serious competition with Marvel that they deliberately sabotaged their 300 million dollar Star Wars movie and jeopardized their 4 billion dollar franchise just to try to make him look like a less attractive option.

I don’t know. Even if those parts of the movie were better, there’d still be a lot wrong with RoS. I think he’s just a bad filmmaker. I haven’t liked any of his non-TV work.
