The old Plagueis EU book that is apparently broad strokes correct says that Plageuis/Sidious basically did something on accident/purpose to the Force that created Anakin.

It's hinted in the 25th issue and final issue of the last Darth Vader comic series which i personally possess a copy of that Palpatine created Anakin through the force in Shmi's womb on the 6th page of the comic.
