Don't think they were directing that comment at me. I've already responded to this accusation though, that's not why I took the poll down. Refer to the last page.
Yeah. Your explanation is bullshit and everyone here knows it. It is a thinly veiled explanation trying to had the fact that you clearly didn't like the results of the poll, and took it down. Guess what, fans have enjoyed the movie. You're gonna have to square with that.

As hard as it may be for you to believe, I don't expend all that much effort thinking about or taking action against people with uninformed opinions.

Best thing people can do is utterly abandon the other thread entirely and focus on actual Star Wars talk here. Continue your conversations from that thread here. I don't want to hear anything more about thread politics, we need to move on from this and stay on target.

As a point of inconsistency Anakin died normally but still had a Force Ghost. Just wanted to point it out.

Speaking of Episode IX, how do you think it will handle Carrie Fisher's death?

Speaking of Episode IX, how do you think it will handle Carrie Fisher's death?Im pretty sure it was the sheer strain of projecting himself using the force over such a vast distance in the way he did that killed him, you could see how badly it had an effect on him once he stopped it. Probably drained him dry.

Probably drained him dry.Especially given Kylo Ren's line earlier in the film, when the force bridge is first established between him and Rey -- he knows she can't be force-projecting to him (as Luke later does) because the effort would kill her.

Lucasfilm has already stated that they won't be using CGI like they did in Rogue One and, despite her family have granted permission, won't be using footage of Fisher for Episode IX.
