Honestly, those nipples weirded me out. The actual scene was cool and fun (loved Luke's expression with his beard full of green milk and all), but those things...

It kills me how little appreciation she's been shown by so many fans. She's delightful.

Also, if you think about it, Finn and Rose's subplot wasn't pointless. It was unsuccessful, which is not necessarily the same thing. It did have an effect on the larger plot (making the First Order aware of the Resistance's plan to evacuate to Crait, thus leading to several of the Resistance's transports being shot down). It's not so much that it was pointless, but rather it gave an unconventional conclusion to a conventional premise (the heroes fail and make things worse for everyone).

And, perhaps more importantly, the casino planet bit sets up whatever they're setting up with this wider rebellion thing.

Let's kidnap Abrams so Rian Johnson has to come back and do episode IX as well.

I love Rian Johnson's work and he seems like a great guy... which is why I think he's better off doing just that spinoff trilogy. The fanbase is already hurling enough abuse at him.

Spinoff trilogy? *googles frantically* Yesss. I suspect this is exactly what he wants to do, given TLJ's themes. I still worry that episode IX might go back to being highly derivative under Abrams, though.

You wouldn't support the sequels if George Lucas came out of whatever hole he's hiding in for retirement and slapped you around.

Nobody's saying we already support Episode IX. We're not fanatics so entrenched that no other opinion is going to make us change our minds about the film.

"“It’s not my story anymore. It’s somebody else’s story…I came to really believe that Rian was the exact man they needed for this job,” Hamill continued, showing that, despite his misgivings, he had faith in Johnson as a director to make the movie that needed to be made for a new generation of fans. Despite having spent decades in close association with both the films and their fanbase, Hamill is able to acknowledge his issues with the new films while also granting them their right to exist and be enjoyed. If only we could all learn to be as wise as Master Luke."

That wasn't the reason. As I said prior to even posting the poll, I didn't think that we'd be able to get accurate results only days after the movie's release. I had a momentary "crisis of conscience" ( similar to Luke :) ) where I caved because people were talking about "bringing in mods" but then realized that backing down to threats wasn't something I was comfortable with.

Of course the film has the right to exist and can be enjoyed. That doesn't mean you should ignore its flaws or try to suppress those who disagree with you.

I got an early gift, Battlefront ea II. But I can't earn credits or level up because I don't have or want a playstation plus account. EA didn't even give us an offline walker assault mode :/ Arcade mode is decent

I miss the original Battlefront II. :(

Also, Jedi Academy. Jedi Academy was fun (even if Jaden was the boring-est lead ever).

Me too I miss OG Battlefront II. I know that EA Battlefront III will not even live up to any of the promises of the cancelled one that Pandemic tried to make. Also a shame Bioware is being forced to make Anthem instead of a Kotor game.
