Anyway, this massive HRE is really pissing me off this run. It holds swathes of France and Italy that I need, and I can't afford the AE. Which means it has to go. I'm now trying to puzzle out a war that'll bring in all the Electors and Austria.

I'd like to do so for alternate history- I'm curious to see what others, who have considered his return to power, have speculated regarding such a course in history. For you see I'm working on an alternate history built around Nikola Tesla's technology, social views, and desires for the future.

To which I found this;

In 1942 Tesla met with the King of Yugoslavia, Peter II. Of this meeting the King wrote; I visited Dr Nikola Tesla, the world-famous Yugoslav-American scientist, in his apartment in the Hotel New Yorker. After I had greeted him the aged scientist said: 'It is my greatest honour. I am glad you are in your youth, and I am content that you will be a great ruler. I believe I will live until you come back to free Yugoslavia.' From your father you have received his last worlds: "Guard Yugoslavia." I am proud to be a Serbian and a Yugoslav. Our people cannot perish. Preserve the unity of all Yugoslavs - the Serbs, the Croats and the Slovenes.

I'm- not convinced that this desire expressed by Tesla would be possible, due to the Chetniks who lost allied support for rational reasons. Thus I'm interested to see what other Althistorians have developed upon a similar idea. and HOIIV's Focus Trees can give me such insight if they include such a direction for Yugoslavia or more specifically one of the two puppet governments established by the Axis powers, like Serbia and Croatia. Likely it'd be Serbia as Peter while King of Yugoslavia ruled from the Serbian Throne. Such would, now that I express this, play into the Chetnik desire for a Greater Serbia.

So, does Road to 54 have that option?

That fact that you'd play it is great to hear, as for the concerning at worse- yeah... I started this alternate history project and I'm getting very concerned with what such a history would be like. Being an Aspie, I don't even know if I'd have been born- let alone so many others.

Question, if I where to create the kaissereich in stelaris what would their ethics/ideology be?

Authoritarian I'm certain, as Egalitarian wouldn't allow you to choose the Imperial Government.

It's difficult to simulate a Federal Monarchy in Stellaris, as Parliamentary system isn't a civic you can choose under an Imperial system of government.

Alternatively you can look at the Kaiseriech as a limited Monarchy, with the Chancellor as your head of state. Thus you wouldn't select the Imperial system of government, and since a chancellor in the Empire doesn't serve for life you wouldn't choose Dictatorship either. The Chancellor of the Empire was appointed; so Oligarchy would be your option in that regards I think.

However such a system doesn't seem, well Kaiser enough so the former (Authoritarian with an Imperial Government) seems the way to go.

If you want to make a throwback to classic games you should totally find a way to include weaponized tesla coils. As for his eugenics belief like most back then it wasn't done out of malevolence like it was with the fascists. Mostly it was out of a belief that people shouldn't have to suffer from horrendous birth defects (not saying i support it). Then it became a matter of breeding out impurities and such. Now it is synonymous with racism.

My CKII families are comfy and loyal though. I've never had a relative in-game turn against me, and generally would be much happier with the life in-game than I live right now.
