My second ruler is probably one of the worst individuals I've ever played as, his stats when I got him were awful.
In the meantime, the Karling empire is in total shambles. I don't think I've ever actually had a game where they've succeeded, but at least this time there's a certain beauty in the cacophony of colors going on here. One of the Karlings ended up adopting another religion entirely.
On the homefront, I wrote two books with two separate rulers. One guy wrote a book simply titled "Human Anatomy", which was rather promptly lost during succession. The other book was called "The White Stag". Hehehe. White stag . . .
In realms far flung, a religion reformed and an early major invasion had made for fun world watching time.
And lastly, there are two big things to talk about here. First is sharing that Christianity has been staring at the deep end of a toilet in this game. The Karlingsplosion, Germanic Reformation and a France-conquering Ummayads have thrown Catholic moral authority so low that heresy has been spreading EVERYWHERE. I've actually had the opportunity to make holy wars in the British isles, where we remain pristine from most of the dreadful things happening on the European mainland. So that's one interesting thing about the screenshot I'm about to share, but what's even more off the wall strange is . . . well . . . see for yourself. Notice anything a little . . . odd about this ruler? This guy and the state of his realm was breaking my mind, so I purged this from existence.
