Current status of my first 2.0 game in Ironman

No wars yet, just some pirates to deal with. Ive got Driven Assimilators to the west (DAAR Interface), Despotic slavers to the south (Tyznn Empire) and north west (United Gorf Sovereignty), a fallen empire to the north east (Raxycodium Protectors), democratic crusaders to the east (Jhoolian Stellar Union, and my best buddies) and some Hegemonic imperialists to the south as well (Interstellar Konnto League). And way past them a marauder empire of space penguins.

Worried about the assimilators and the slavers to my south. Pretty much everyone is either on the same level as me or slightly superior. Ive not been expanding as quickly as they have, mainly consolidating around my home system before branching out. Now that ive got a good base area set up, im thinking of rushing north to try and limit the expansion of the slavers to my north west into my galactic arm.

Interesting side note: The United Gorf Sovereignty has an inactive gate way in their territory.

I might, but my fleet is weaker than theirs at the moment, so if i do im going to wait and build up my fleets more.

Defeated the Tyznn Empire with the support of another power who was their rival, didnt get all of what i wanted but my fleet had taken some heavy hits towards the end and my allies were falling back a bit, so decided to seize what we have occupied in the war. So i got two systems, my allies got one, and we have tightened the noose around one of the Tyznn worlds which would be a target in a future war perhaps.

I then started expanding north to take more territory as it was only fallen empires up there. The Holy guardians wont give a fuck unless i colonise their holy worlds, the militant isolations however i will have to give a wide berth.

Now that my modem is working again the Enclave can rise from the tomb world of earth.

Be very careful.
You can get yourself dragged into the war again the NCR and the Desert Rangers, and because it doesn't look like there's a way to dump all the trashy pipes, you get stuck with crap weapons until you manage to run out of them.
