Almost at the end of my campaign. Current character is Empress Caitlin the Cruel, and these are my current holdings.

Some setbacks and a few nasty wars which killed a lot of my soldiers, as well as the re-establishment of the kingdoms of France and Aquitaine has made my expansion into that region a bit harder and slower, but ive still got large sections under my control in the north.

I had my last empress, Kiara the Lionheart (best nickname ever) eventually commit suicide in her 60s, she was a hell of a fighter with a martial of 27 but she had been depressed for a long time and i wanted to nab the Empressive Achivement by playing as a third empress in a row so i had her jump from the balcony to end it all.

Really fun game and the first ironman run ive completed in ck2, and despite my hatred for the mode in the past, im definitely going to do more.

Well i usually play at five times speed, pausing when major stuff happens. Some times i might go down to four times or three times in some wars.

I actually just jumped into CK2 to test precisely how fast speed 5 is on my machine. Turns out my guess wasn't an exaggeration at all, one month literally lasted just over 3 seconds. Just how fast is a month for you?
