When I want to have more than 2 living male dynasty members my ruler’s fertility goes down 7,500%. When I want to stop having kids my intrigue goes to 0 and fertility is increased by 50%.

HOI3 is like... really confusing. I'm actually trying to give it a shot as Germany, and uh, there's a lot to take in.

That is always the balance, isn't it? It's not the children's fault, it's the women. Just how long do you keep her around? Long enough to possibly breed eugenically ideal stock, or short enough so her vagina doesn't become a pretender problem?

Download notepad++, open C:\Users\(you)\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\save games, find your save game, open it with notepad++ then ctrl+f with your character ID with an = after, no space (ex. 123456789=) (` in game, then type "charinfo 1" no quotes, then hover over your character portrait for ID), change fertility to the value you want. Mess with a bunch of other fun junk in there too.

If you're looking for a specific little shit to die, try the ever handy "kill (charID)" (ex: kill 123456789). Chalk it up to an act of God and carry on.

Or get captured and castrated, that'll do it too.

You guys go ahead. I don't play with other people. I am just way too reliant on constant pausing to set things up and plan for MP to be fun for me.

Personally I don't ever use it but like having it installed for those just in case situations like when you give your son and hair a province and it contains a temple so he idiotically flips to a priest and stuff like that. But if you aren't averse to cheating it has a lot of options for fun stuff.

I've seen it on Christians. Hell, I've even seen a Christian lord of Tengri origins (portrait at least) with the title "Sword of Odin". Guy probably converted to reformed norse, conquered lands in the west (France in this case) and than converted to Catholic.
