If you make a few light tanks, you can do some pretty nice advances if they are at war with the French as well. In fact, you should hurry up, because the French will get to Berlin quite fast and you need to get all that native Polish land back before they do. As the Kingdom of Poland, I did have some trouble reclaiming Danzig.

I wanted to play the original when I first got CKII, I think I might mess around a bit with this over the weekend.

This is what happens when the Ottomans leave Dulkadir on the map for too long and can't access the mission set that would have annihilated these eastern nations ages ago. While I've obvious taken territory from the Ottomans, myself, I don't think I impacted the success of their war very much other than being a catalyst for encouraging the AI to actually declare the war. When I went to war earlier, I ended up killing only 12K Ottoman men, I never saw a real Ottoman army. It was those guys who had to bear the brunt of the Ottoman war machine.

So I was playing CKII as the germanic colony in Kiev and while my attention was eastward. Central Europe fell apart and then to shit. Burgundy pulled an Abbasids and had a massive revolt. Ha goes to show you greedy bastards for inheriting into mega blob all at once.

They won. Western and Central are now complete messes. I'm Ukraine (Ruthenia) btw. The world has truly stopped making sense and I'm not even playing with that mod on. I didn't get the preacher early enough and when I did he was orthodox and not Catholic which means I needed to marry into the Arapid Carpathians so they don't devour me. Come one betrothal don't fail me now!

Think this might be the end of my Indian ambitions. I focused so much on keeping Westerners out of my sphere, but now I'm going to be crushed by Easterners. It's so frustrating that after constant war and colonisation, loads of points sunk into development to keep up on tech, I'm going to be smacked down near the end by a nation that's spent 200 years tootling about picking up the odd province here and there but generally putting zero effort into its campaign. As it stands, I've knocked Bengal out of the war, and spent 800 MIL to pull ahead of them in Mil tech, but I'm on -26% warscore despite not losing a single battle. Ming started the war with next to no manpower and they're on zero now, but their armies in the field outnumber mine almost three to one. It doesn't matter that they can't reinforce after every defeat, because they can have big stacks sieging in the Phillipines, the the East Indies and up and down the subcontinent, while I have to keep all my armies close together to guarantee each victory.

I use Spiral (4 armed), 800 systems, Random empire placement, advanced starts off, normal AI settings, normal Crisis settings, normal start years, and finally normal hyperlane density and two fallen empires.
